Yes the check in was a disaster, calling VRBO asking where the confirmation was, they confirmed they could see we were trying to reach out to the host etc. then the fire place didn’t work. To completely top our stay off, there was a frat party above us into the wee hours of the evening!

We’re sorry to hear your arrival experience felt frustrating and that aspects of your stay did not meet expectations. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:- Check-in instructions are automatically generated and sent directly by Vrbo through their “Check-In Instructions” email, which includes the door code and access details.- The process is designed to be simple, with no key exchanges or multiple entry points required. If anything ever seems unclear, our property manager is always available to assist when notified.- The fireplace pilot can occasionally go out during windy conditions, which is outside of our control. It can typically be relit in just a few simple steps, and had we been notified during your stay, our property manager could have quickly assisted.- Please also note that neighboring units are independently owned and managed. While we do not have control over other occupants in the building, we certainly understand how late-night noise can be disruptive. We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience and regret that your stay did not fully meet expectations.
The condo was spacious and had plenty of space for my friends and I to sleep and relax. The location is right near the mountain and has a convenient ski-off trail which some of our friends used while others headed home from the mountain early with the car.
My family and I stayed here on our recent ski trip to Killington. This place was great in that it provided what we needed and was very close to the mountain. Only thing I think could’ve been improved was clarity on the schedule of the shuttle to the mountain. The shuttle only picks up from the condo on weekends and holidays. In any case, the place was great and my family had a fantastic time!
great time skiing at Killington. Condo was nice and everything was as expected except the stove needed a light so you could see what you were cooking. (Bulb was out) and the baking pan was very small for the oven. Probably bring your own....

Not worth the money
I have stayed at many properties in and around Killington and I have to say, this was near the bottom.
Pros - location is great and there was plenty of bedding for my family of 5.
Cons - SUPER expensive and didn't really get the value for $1100/night (all in withfees, etc). Only 1 of the 2 bathrooms was updated. Kitchen is teeny tiny and all of the cookware was old. Hallway smelled. I usually never complain about accommodations but I have stayed at a 5 star hotel in Indonesia for $1100 a night and this was a far cry from that. If the cost was closer to $500-600/night I would likely not be writing this review. But to be charged so much (yes, it was a peak week, but still), I felt I needed to share my experience with others. Stay elsewhere.

Hi Amanda, we take guest feedback seriously and passed your comments on to the homeowner who would like to share the following: Thank you for your review. We have high standards of hospitality for our property and strive to make vacation rental easy for our guests. Thank you for sharing your positive insight on the location and glad to hear that your family of 5 was comfortable with the sleeping arrangement options.
- We prioritize transparency, breaking down all rates and fees before confirming reservations. Our goal is to keep guests fully informed about the reservation cost, avoiding surprises. Evolve strives for industry-competitive prices using a dynamic algorithm that adjusts based on the property and time of year. We apologize if the value didn't meet your expectations As you choose to stay during a peak week, prices are naturally higher. We can assure you that, even during that peak period, our unit remained one of the more affordable options compared to similar places. Staying near the mountain adds significant value, and many guests find our pricing competitive with similar units.
- The condo provided everything as advertised in the listing, and there were no complaints reported to the property manager during your stay. Informing us of any concerns would have given us the opportunity to address them immediately.
- We appreciate all feedback and will take into consideration upgrading the cookware for a more positive cooking experience.
Guests can feel confident in our service as our goal is to create the best home experience and host many satisfied guests at this property.
