Unfortunately we arrived to a very warm house with a front room with a vaulted ceiling and no switch on the wall to operate the ceiling fan. The remote was missing and the number I was told to text said they were the cleaning crew and didn’t know where it was and couldn’t help us. The air conditioner couldn’t keep up. The remote to the large tv in that room was also missing; we had planned to use it for some family reunion activities. On Saturday my sister went down to use the bathroom below the primary bedroom and found that it was running water in four places in front of another bedroom and bathroom. We were told not to use that shower and were left with a single shower on the main floor for 7 people. Because the front room was so warm, we thought we could let a breeze in at night, but the screen door to the back deck was ripped out at the bottom and there were too many bugs to open anything without a screen. I reached out to Evolve, the management company, and told them the problems; I texted photos, messaged through the VRBO app, as well as contacted and met with the property manager about the leak from the shower. This all happened over a Friday to Monday stay; half the time I was dealing with one thing or another with no fixes offered. I’m really disappointed that no compensation was offered for the multiple inconveniences that happened while we were there. I don’t recommend this property due to the conditions and lack of response to our concerns.
