The Space:
This peaceful 74 sq m | 798 sq ft studio at Ibiza Residence is the tranquil beach getaway you’ve been looking for! The unit is equipped with all the comforts of home to ensure a comfortable stay in sunny paradise.
The studio features the following:
- The open floor plan of the studio was thoughtfully constructed maximizing the use of the space and provoking positive energy flow.
- The comfy KING BED faces the floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors that look out onto the turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea.
- At the foot of the bed, there’s a comfy sofa bed facing the wall-mounted flatscreen Smart TV so that you can watch from either place in the apartment. The sofa bed can accommodate 1 more, making the studio able to accommodate 3 guests in total.
- The office desk and chair, creating a comfortable laptop-friendly WORKSPACE, are situated also facing the ocean which makes working a bit more enjoyable thanks to the gorgeous view.
- Direct access through the sliding doors to the PRIVATE BALCONY w/ a table, chairs, and panoramic views where you can relax with a book or just enjoy a beverage. Open the doors all the way for an extension of living space and enjoy the breeze from the ocean!
- A KITCHEN that has the appliances and basics you’ll need to prepare a home-cooked meal. Great for saving a little bit of cash or for those who follow a special diet. There’s a breakfast bar with 2 stools that can also double as a laptop-friendly workspace if needed.
- A DINING TABLE set to accommodate 4 guests comfortably so that you can enjoy any meal of the day.
- Other thoughtful extras like towels, some kitchen & bath essentials, an iron, and a hairdryer for complimentary use and convenience.
- On the ROOF TERRACE you can enjoy the infinity pool and lounge chairs. Also, as a guest, you have access to the shared gym so you don’t have to miss your daily workout.
Guest Access:
You’ll have full, exclusive access to the studio during your stay. As a guest, the use of the shared pool and gym is included.
The Neighborhood:
This stylish studio at Ibiza Residence is about 6 blocks from the beginning of the famous 5th Ave which makes it in a more peaceful area of downtown but still steps from block after awesome block of cafes, restaurants, bars, shops of all kinds, nightlife, and street performers!
Though the beach at the condo is spectacular and only a 5min walk from your door, once in downtown Playa you can also visit one of the beach clubs like Mandarino, Las Hijas, Martina, and Mamitas where you can meet other travelers or just enjoy being catered to.
There’s so much to see and do around Playa -- everything from the beach and beach clubs, water sports like snorkeling, scuba, paddle boarding, eco-parks with underground rivers, ancient Mayan ruins, cenotes (natural sinkholes special to this area!), private yacht tours and fishing charters, golfing, day trips to Tulum or Cancun and more!

The property is about 54 km | 34 mi from the Cancun International Airport (CUN). It’s best to pre-arrange your airport transfers. There are shared-ride and private vans as well as rental car options. IMPORTANT! When you drive around in town be aware of where you park as you may be in a metered parking spot. In this case you'll need need to search for the meter to pay for your parking. The meters are in effect from Monday to Sunday, 10 am to 10 pm, except for official holidays. There are also public parking lots around town for a nominal fee by the hour/day. Luckily, however, the property is centrally located you won’t really need a car because everything is within walking distance. And for any activity further away, you can easily rent a bike, take a taxi, or go by ‘colectivo’ (shared-ride vans) to where you need to go.

The rooftop and pool are currently out of order until further notice due to renovations.
Please be aware that there is an ongoing construction project situated approximately 10 meters from the building (across the street). This may result in noise disturbances such as drilling, shoveling, hammering, and other construction-related activities. The construction work is scheduled from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. While we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience our guests may experience due to these disruptions, it's important to note that this is beyond our control and we cannot be held responsible for them.
Please note that the property uses surveillance cameras on the premises. These cameras are strictly for security reasons only.
Guests may be required to climb stairs.
Wi-Fi, Smart TV, AC, bed linens, and towels are all provided free for guests during your stay.
There is no designated parking space you can park on the street for free.
Electricity is included for stays fewer than 28 nights. For stays of 28 nights or more, you’ll need to pay for electricity usage from day 1 of your arrival at $5 pesos/KWh consumed. The meter will be checked on the day of your arrival and again on departure. Please be conscientious of what you consume and always turn off lights and the AC before leaving as it consumes the most.
There is no daily housekeeping service but a mid-stay cleaning service can be requested for an additional fee.
Guests will be requested to sign a Rental Agreement upon booking confirmation.
A security deposit may be required prior to arrival or at check-in subject to the booking platform used to make the reservation. This fee is charged as a credit card transaction and refunded after check-out, provided all terms are met.
Lastly, long-term stays are available. There’s also a laptop-friendly space inside. Great for the remote worker!
Pack 'n play are subject to availability, and there is an extra fee of $10 USD per night.
We provide essentials like toilet paper, soap, shower gel, shampoo, paper towels, trash bags, and dishwashing soap to get you started. Just note that these starter items are not replenished.
HOUSE RULES
- Travelers must be at least 21 years of age or older to book.
- No smoking of any kind (tobacco or cannabis) is allowed in the unit. The use of any recreational drugs on the premises is strictly prohibited. Failure to comply will incur a $300 penalty.
- No parties/events are permitted, illegal activity is prohibited, and excessive noise won't be tolerated. No loud music is allowed after 10 pm. Please be respectful of the neighbors.
- No more guests than those listed in your reservation are allowed.
- No tent or other structures may be set up on the ground of the property.
- Renters agree to cover any charge related to damages that occurred during their stay or necessary extra-cleaning charges if needed after their visit.
- Renters may be required to provide a government ID on check-in day or during their stay.
- Please avoid moving furniture.
- Pets are not allowed.
- Please avoid hanging towels or clothes on the balcony/terrace railings.
- It is requested to use the Safety Deposit Box for all your valuables. We will not be held responsible for any loss or theft.
- Pool, and common area regulations, and opening/closing hours must be respected. The use of musical devices in common areas is prohibited. No glasses, bottles, food, or coolers are allowed in the pool. Disposable or plastic glasses are allowed.
- We ask that you please adhere to the rules of the condo complex during your stay. You’ll be required to acknowledge and sign upon arrival.
