Sandy Bay Cottage

Beautiful cabin for rent in the unrestricted area of Victoria Beach, MB. This 4 season cabin has vaulted pine ceilings with a skylight. The kitchen comes fully stocked with pots and pans, dishes, cutlery, utensils, baking dishes, kettle, coffee maker, toaster, cutting boards and more. Appliances include stove/oven, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and microwave. This bungalow has a three piece washroom and separate laundry room. Outside there is a large side deck as well as a covered front deck. There is a propane BBQ, a two car parking pad and additional one car parking pad. Sleeps 6-8 with one queen, one double and two bunkbeds. There is also a charming bunkhouse with a futon. Sandy Bay beach is only a five minute walk and the MacAulay bike path to the Victoria Beach restricted area is a quick bike ride. Groceries, gas, restaurants and LC are only a 5-10 minute drive away.

Lovely place in a beautiful area

The cabin had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. Check in was seamless and we had no issues with anything at all. The beds were comfy, everything was clean and tastefully decorated. We loved the front porch and the bikes provided were a nice bonus. It’s a short 10 minute walk to the most beautiful and quiet beach. I hope to stay again in the future.

Our family booked two separate vacations at the Sandy Bay Cottage and all of us loved every minute of our stay. The a cottage was very clean and well equipped with all amenities one could wish for. We had a wonderful stay here with our family. The cottage was well stocked with everything we needed and more, including the kitchen. It was clean when we arrived, and well organized. Being able to use the bikes was a great feature. We didn't have hot weather but still found a lot to do with our children. Would love to come back again.

Great cabin!

My family had a great stay at this sweet spot -- a super quiet neighbourhood with quick access to the beach and amenities of VB. The cabin was very clean and we really appreciated access to TONS of pantry items, as well as beach toys and bikes. The shady deck was a great place to read, snooze, and share a meal.

We loved everything about this property!! Very clean, close proximity to the city, beautiful beaches nearby, extensive tree coverage around the property made it quiet and secluded, massive wrap around deck for meal time and happy hours! Would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!!

A lovely cottage!!

A lovely cottage in the heart of Sandy Bay for our family! We loved the privacy of the space and our kids enjoyed hanging out in bunkhouse! The bikes were so helpful to bike around to VB and beaches!

Family Friendly Holiday

Came for 3 nights with our 4 year old and 1 year old. Everything was clean and we had everything we needed. 10 minute walk or 2 minute bike to the loveliest beach.

4 of us stayed as we were golfing all week at a nearby course. Stalked with everything we needed and walking distance to a beautiful beach. Would definitely come back.

Comfy Getaway

Our family enjoyed a very comfortable stay at Sherri’s cabin. It was well equipped with all we needed and more, clean, and comfortable. We particularly appreciated the built-in gates that allowed our dog to hang with us on the deck, and the room darkening shades in the bedrooms. The kitchen made meal prep a breeze.

Nice place to stay

Happy with cleanliness and being able to use the bikes. Very quiet location. Thank you for the use of the pantry items. Will come again. One suggestion is to have a more detailed map of the bike trail over to 8th Ave in Victoria Beach.

Great trip to Sandy Bay!

We stayed in Sherri’s place for 5 nights and it had everything we needed to be comfortable. The bikes and beach chairs were especially useful-thank you! We loved having some cooking basics and the kitchen was so well stocked with pans, utensils, sharp knives etc. to make a great meal! The bunk house was a fun hangout for the kids and we also appreciated having all the DVDs for them to watch. The beautiful light sand beach is a very short is only a 3 minute bike ride. Great family place!
