Mountain & ocean views abound in this unique one bedroom suite in the Lantzville Foothills. It offers a private entrance and dedicated two car parking. The living room queen sofa bed is a La-Z-Boy with a Tempur-Pedic mattress for a third and fourth guest. Dog friendly. There are plenty of places to walk and explore while appreciating the beautiful views, sunrises & sunsets. Centrally located to amenities a five minute drive to Nanaimo. Come relax and enjoy all the comforts of home!

Shannon was a wonderful host… treats were left out, coffee pods and even cream for our coffee. I can’t think of anything lacking. Not to mention the suite itself… spotlessly clean and wonderful views. Close to everything. Would highly recommend

Long Term

I found both the accommodations to be as advertised and an excellent place to stay for my 3 month holiday. The hosts thought of everything and were super friendly and helpful in supplying information and giving advice on the local area. I would give Shannon & Scott an A and would highly recommend the Ridge suite as a place to stay.

Beautiful suite in great location

The Ridge Suite is beautifully presented. Spotlessly clean and well organized. The host has gone the extra mile and provided snacks and other small touches to make the stay as much like home as possible. 10/10!

The most well equipped apartment

We used this for our base to discover southern Vancouver Island for a few days and really enjoyed it. This place is clean and very well equipped. . We used the modern laundry facilities too during our stay, very helpful when on a long road trip.

Perfect little oasis!

Really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was quiet and close to nature but not far out of town or difficult to access. The hosts were absolutely lovely and very welcoming. Very well outfitted kitchen, which is great! All the comforts of home in a well decorated and brand new place. We three stayed just for two nights but we will be back and definitely recommend this place. Thanks for having us!

The Ridge Suite was fantastic. The hosts welcomed us to the unit and had it all ready for our arrival with Snacks, Fresh Linens, Toiletries for our use and access to laundry facilities. There is a lovely little seating area out the back to sit and have a morning coffee - freshly brewed from the supplied Keurig and pods. If/when we travel back to Nanaimo - will definitely try and stay here again. Thank you again!

Great rental!

Everything is brand new and very clean. The rental was as described. Great location, great mountain view, lots of extras that made this a terrific place to stay! Use Apple Maps (not Google) to make it easier to find. Shannon answered every message very promptly and was so easy to work with. Would definitely stay here again!

Solitude and convenience

Let me start by saying our hosts were amazing! Shannon and Scott went above and beyond to ensure our stay was pleasant, often providing little extras that just leveled up the stay. We were there for almost 2 months while we searched for a new home on the island. The suite is very clean, comfortable and contemporary. The kitchen was very well appointed with a full sized fridge, range and microwave.The bathroom is large and bright and well stocked but I would suggest the addition of a grab handle to increase secure access to the shower. . The one thing weren't thrilled with the location. It's located in a subdivision called The Foothills in upper Lantzville. This entire subdivision is carved into the side of a mountain so all the roads/walkways are steeply inclined and while you are less than 10 min. from Nanaimo, you are within walking distance of nothing. The other thing we found challenging was the driveway. The entry of the driveway is not level having a noticeable lean to the right. The right side of the driveway is partially fenced but the unfenced portion has a steep drop off down into the neighboors yard. Whether we were driving in or backing out we got the distinct sensation that we could easily slide off the driveway into the neighbour's yard. Of course this never happened but it was a bit nerve wracking. Apart from the driveway, we really enjoyed our stay there and would recommend this location!
