Beautiful cabin on the sound. We enjoyed the many amenities offered, and loved the decor and coziness.Watching the abundance of wildlife and the daily visit of a harbor seal was a treat. Perfect get away to relax and destress. We will book again for our next visit!

Amazing place, the view is fantastic and changes throughout the day. We love to kayak and this is a wonderful spot. It’s protected from the wind, and if the weather is good, you have access to go as far as you like.

Host experience-host was slow to respond, I had difficulties getting in when I arrived, called multiple times and no answer -second day power outage. I came in pretty late to no power. When I called she simply said power is out everywhere and that was it. It would have been nice for her to check in if she knew power was out so I didn’t come back wondering what was up. She also said she’d check in, didn’t til noon next day The place is beautiful, but could be more clean. Some towels had hair on them, the shower wall had hair, and some of the dishes were not clean.

Pre-wedding Stay

Beautiful place just outside of downtown Olympia. The big bay windows are perfect for watching the local fowl. We enjoyed visiting Olympia again! Would love to stay and highly recommend this spot again and again.

A few special days away

This cabin was such a gem. It is a beautiful cabin for 2 persons, although it appears to be larger, which is probably due to the wonderful large windows that capture the available light. The quietness and the scenery add to the magic of the cabin and location. We definitely would like to return, as its close proximity to Olympia is important for us.

An amazing place to stay, possibly the nicest in this area!

This is the property all other Vrbo bookings will be Compared to. It will be hard to rate any future Vrbo rentals to this, the location, views, cleanliness, and overall peace and calm found here - will make all other listings start out on the defensive. I think no other properties we could stay at in this area would be this amazing. Hoping this is available next year when we come back up.

Beautiful Property

The property was beautiful and exactly as advertised. Confirtable and private cabin. Very quiet with beautiful and peaceful views of the sound. Didn’t venture out on the kayaks due to February weather, however we enjoyed the wildlife including ducks, geese and raccoons. Can’t that host enough for the little thinks like coffee for the mornings. Great location. We loved our stay and would recommend to anyone.

Anniversary retreat

We stayed a short week and became so relaxed. It was warm but we were able to be very comfortable The constant parade of wildlife was wonderful The double shower was a true treat. We slept well and deeply in the comfortable bed. The owner brought us 2 deck chairs so we could sit outside ..read and work. All of the local fish places were delicious however we bought fresh from Olympia Seafood and cooked at the cabin. The farmers market is wonderful. apricot season!!! Anthonys restaurant was our favorite spot as it was water view with old style dining. Perfect martinis. We Thank our hosts. Every design detail was appreciated..One day all we did was watch old movies. True fun. Parking off the road on the platform is the easiest egress .I used the stairs as an exercise rally and waved to the sunning seals. on the barge. If you like silence solitude and uninterrupted nature views. This is the perfect respite.

This is one of those rare finds that I debate leaving a great review because I want to return and want it to be available! I suppose I should share.. it is private, peaceful, beautiful and comfortable. The mornings are amazing with the reflections on the water, birds chirping and frogs doing what they do. This is truly an escape. Do not expect nightlife. There is a charming local market to get whatever you need for your stay-the kitchen has all you need to make those comfort meals. I work remotely, and this environment was amazing; I was only slightly distracted with the beautiful views-I had to take SO many pictures of the fall colors, misty mornings and reflections in the water. Highly recommend!

A Little Slice of Heaven

This cabin is perfect!! When we booked it we were a little worried because there weren’t many reviews. They were all great reviews, just not many. We are glad we booked it! It was perfect!!! Once we got there we read the journal and realized it was booked week after week with very happy renters! It was very clean and just as advertised in the listing. Very well stocked. There was very little we needed to buy from the store besides the food we wanted to eat. The owners are super responsive and super helpful!!We are from Missouri and wanted to vacation here to escape the hot, humid weather at home. It was a bit warmer than we had hoped for, but it ended up working out well, as relaxing on the deck and dock were the highlight of our trip. We were so excited to get back each day to see if our seal friends were there. And everyday they were!!! Up to 7 at times! We also had a family of raccoons that visited several evenings. And we found ourselves mesmerized by the jellyfish which was something we did not expect to see. We loved taking the kayaks out for a stroll. The peace and quiet in this cove is amazing and just what we needed. It was the perfect week!! We truly felt like we escaped and left feeling refreshed and rejuvenated! This place is truly a little slice of heaven!!!
