Sparkling in Taupo V8 madness

Fabulous space to get away. Plenty of room, sparkling clean with up to date appliances and furnishings. Close enough to town for everything you need but far enough to be quiet at the end of the day and easy to find and access!

Taupo hot pools Easter

We spent Easter weekend at Waipahihi and love every minute of it. The weather was great, the lake was amazing as always and the accommodation delightfully well appointed with views from most areas and right next to the lakeside walking path. Cafes and restaurants within walking distance. We particularly loved the hot pools with the view across the lake. Thanks Amy

Short Stay

We spent 2 nights at Waimahana. I'll start with the not so good. I thought the tv could have been a little bigger for the size of the unit. The bathroom was a little small. The vanity was so small, no where to lay out the mrs make up etc... or even to put my stuff. I thought the photos on the app were a little misleading. I was under the impression that I would have some sort of view of the lake from my room. Unfortunately all I could see was SH1. Apart from that the whole complex is very modern. The room is very spacious with very good furnishings. The bed was so comfortable, we both slept really well. The unit was easy to find. It was near enough to the city, only a five minutes drive. Over all it was a good experience but because of the views or lack of I give this property a score of 7 out of 10
