Fantastic lake views and only minutes to the water

Large private back section with tons of space for tents, boats and campers
. Great north facing deck with views up the lake to Taupo. The boat ramp is located only minutes away for access to some of the best boating and fishing lake Taupo has to offer.
Turangi is located approximately 20 minutes away and Taupo 1hour. Whakapapa is around 45 minutes
The area boasts some fantastic walking trails. Our bach, although small, is cosy and well appointed for a relaxing getaway. It would suit a couple looking to escape for a while. Please note only1 bedroom and 1 double bed. Guests are asked to provide their own linen.

Idyllic lake stay

Amazing place with great lake beaches and very few other people around. Private section and so great the dog could stay as well. Awesome hosts that were very easy to deal with.

Perfect for a break away!

Loved this cosy bach in its peaceful bush setting with amazing views out to Lake Taupo. Access to the lake jetty and boat ramp is just down the road. The bach is set up with everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Perfect getaway for two!

James and Mel’s hideaway is the perfect spot for relaxing. We really appreciated being able to bring the dog (he loved trying to chase bunnies) and there was plenty of space to park the boat. The accommodation is well set up and has the added bonus of the boat ramp down the hill.Thanks again!

Amazing stay @ Kurutau lodgr

This place was perfect for my partner, dog and I. We had an awesome time. Our dog got to run around off leash within the safety of the property while being in complete view and access to the lake itself so close! About a 5-7min walk away. The place was so peaceful, the scenery was gorgeous, it was absolutely surreal. It’s the perfect get away from the busyness of city life. Everything advertised exactly as expected and we definitely will be staying again soon! Thank you so much James!!

Great views and has everything you need

Had an amazing time staying at this cosy bach with a good view of Lake Taupo. Feels remote but is a short drive away from Turangi or Omori for groceries/supplies. The house was clean and the host was helpful getting me settled in upon arrival.

A wonderful quiet kiwi bach

We so loved this little wee bach. Very tidy and has everything you need. The private large section was heaven for our dog to run around and gorgeous views. We will definitely return to reboot our batteries. Highly recommend staying here.

Amazing Bach!

Fantastic Weekend getaway

What a beautiful sanctuary that you have! The vista was stunning. Super great grassy area to play with the dog.
