Our 2,180 sq ft character home sleeps 14, has a full kitchen and is equipped with the features and comforts of home.

Elegant, versatile and functional, our open-concept layout and magnificent Great Room provide the perfect location to gather, connect and celebrate!

In the spring and summer months, you’ll also have our expansive patio and stunning outdoor space to enjoy during your stay or as the perfect backdrop to host the event of your dreams.

Perfect place for a wedding party

I had my family stay here during my wedding week and we had a get together some nights. It is a perfect place for hosting lots of people.

First Place in Strathmore AB was the perfect place to host our combo Thanksgiving-50th bday-family reunion! Clean and beautifully decorated, there was great space outside for a variety of games, inside for meals and visiting…just a gorgeous venue for about 45 people to share food and laughs together. We will be back for sure!

A group of retired friends that take an annual fly fishing trip. Location was perfect and the property lent itself well to sitting back at the end of the day and sharing stories about the fish we caught and guides we used. Great kitchen and deck

Great for large groups

For the short stay with are large group (8 people) is was perfect. Had some issues with the showers but overall great stay.

Perfect family gathering space

We enjoyed a great weekend in this cute and very spacious home. We were staying for our son's wedding near Strathmore and the home had lots of separate spaces for sleeping and getting ready for our special event. The large gathering areas were perfect for hosting our extended families as well.

Family gathering

First Place was perfect for our needs as it has great space indoors and outdoors for everyone to gather and visit. The out of town guests really appreciated having a place to stay with all the comforts of home rather than a hotel room. The kitchen facilities are spacious and have every item needed for dishware, utensils and appliances. Bring your groceries and clothing and enjoy!

Perfectly situated

We love this beautiful home! There were 4 of us in town for the Strathmore Rodeo which was only 5 minutes away. The home is very clean and lovely, and has everything we needed for cooking. Our host was wonderful and communication was great. Oops, We accidentally set off the smoke alarm so we even got to meet the local fire department and the owner. They were all very gracious for our mistake. Would definitely recommend this beautiful home!

Communication hiccup

The house overall was nice. There is a stale cigarette smell throughout the house, probably from long ago. We showed up later in day and unfortunately didn't have access to the key and couldn't get ahold of the host so almost had to sleep in our cars. However, the host made up for it and did everything in her power to make it right. I thank her for that. Maybe contacting sooner just in case would be best. Overall it was a good house. Really enjoyed the jetted tub.

Wonderful weekend stay

We had a wonderful weekend at this house. The contact for the house was wonderful and very accommodating and responsive. We had forgotten a few items and they shipped them back to us! The kitchen was well stocked with everything you could ever need and the house was spacious enough for our family gathering of 7 adults and 6 children. A few things we brought to the attention of the owner is the carpet in the basement bedroom needed a deep cleaning or replacement as it did not appear that clean. The kitchen was amazingly well stocked but there were no empty cupboards for putting our own food and items in. Other than that we had a wonderful stay.

Unacceptable rental

Upon arrival we discovered a house not well cared for and amenities dirty. The grounds were overgrown. The sheets on multiple beds had hair on them, were thread bare, and rumpled The throw blankets and some of the bedding smelled of BO. There were stains on the furniture, broken fingernails on the rug, sunflower seeds on entry carpet, toilets filthy. Due to the unclean nature it was hard to be in the house.
