Enchanted Hideaway is a beautiful two-story home located in a quiet family friendly neighborhood. Hidden on a large, treed lot with a secluded feeling. Located just a short drive from popular dining locations, Captain John's Marina, Fawnskin Village, and more! Minutes to The Big Bear Village, restaurants, ski resorts, biking, boating, fishing, and hiking.

LIVING SPACE - Cozy 900+ sq ft home with living room, ceiling fans, dining table, TV, wood burning fireplace, and plenty of comfortable living room seating.

ROOMS & BEDS - 1 bedroom, 1 bath. First bedroom has a queen bed. Bonus room has a queen bed. Loft area is locked off and not accessible to guests. Extra blankets and pillows are available.

KITCHEN - Full kitchen with stove, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, blender, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, pots/pans, and more.

AMENITIES - Board games include Cards Against Humanity Family Edition, Chutes and Ladders, and more. TV and streaming apps along with fast WiFi. Relax near the cozy wood burning fireplace.

OUTDOORS - Nice covered lower deck with hot tub, patio furniture, and charcoal barbecue. Enjoy the most beautiful lake views at sunrise and sunset sitting out on the upper deck. Plenty of yard space for outdoor play.

Perfect Weekend Gateway

Enchanted Hideaway was the perfect Big Bear getaway! The cabin was cozy, clean, and peaceful. The Jacuzzi was the best part, so relaxing under the stars. We'll definitely be back!

Perfect in every way

Our stay at Enchanted Hideaway was perfect. The cabin is comfortable and has excellent flow. The multiple patios and the open windows between the kitchen and covered patio made the outdoors feel like part of the house and really made it easy to enjoy the outdoors and gorgeous views. We will be coming back and staying longer next year!

Great Easter weekend!!!

Had the best time in our girls getaway for Easter weekend! We wish we could have stayed longer! Definitely will be coming back! Hot tub was our favorite and the views in this cabin were amazing !!!!!

Super disappointed

Communication with the property manager was great, until we checked in. First of all, there is no mention of the driveway being super steep, and the property being a little difficult to find. They definitely need to install some sort of lighting. Once we were told we could check in, we went straight to the property. I was disappointed right away because the cleaning crew had just been there, but I found numerous dirty areas. The pictures are a bit deceiving… The downstairs kitchen and bathroom have such an incredibly low ceiling, that anyone over 5’10” would be miserable. It made it very claustrophobic. The house has one old mirror, but it’s in the bathroom with towel hooks hanging in front of it. The lighter provided ran out when we went to light our first log during our stay. Dishes were dirty, bugs were stuck to the walls and on the light fixtures in the kitchen. The option of a hot tub is lovely, however, there were no extra towels in the cabin. So we went to Marshalls. We asked about extra towels- no response. We brought our small puppy, and although it says dog friendly- there’s barely room for the dog bed/ crate to fit in the bedroom. Also, the stalking coyote made it so sketchy that along with that animal and my frustrations with the cabin we came home a day early. I have grown up going to big Bear and owned a cabin in Moonridge for many years, and I’m super disappointed with this trip. I wanted a place for rest and reprieve, this is definitely not that property.

Very enchanting hideaway

A quick trip away from the city. Love the kitchen and outdoor space. Cool cabins was very attentive and accommodating during our stay. I loved the birthday celebration package and cake!! Thank you!

Not bad

Our first night we got there very late, almost midnight, so it was very cold. Our bedroom heater worked but none of the other heaters worked. Also the toilet didn’t flush. We messaged the property management but because of the late hour we got a response the next morning and they sent out a maintenance person within a few hours and got it all working. There were a lot of large spiders that made appearances throughout our stay inside the home. The ceiling was lower than expected in the kitchen downstairs, which was funny. So if you’re 6’3 you will be bumping your head. 6ft tall you have to duck going down the stairs. Overall a good property, beautiful views. Quiet neighborhood. It was a very peaceful stay.

Great Property - Relaxing Stay

Beautiful cabin with great amenities. Way too much communication from property management, made it difficult to find actual check-in instructions. We printed check-in instructions prior to leaving as reception can be unpredictable in mountains and all pertinent information was in yellow font (address, entry code, ect) and was not visible on printed document. This made the check-in process less than fun. 5/5 for the cabin, would stay again.

Great views/cute place

Really great views and super clean, lots of cooking supplies and it has a dishwasher in the kitchen which is nice. The only real downside is the air conditioner for the upstairs floor doesn’t really work if you’re not standing in front of it but it was nicer to sit on the patio anyway!

Things to be improved

We loved the cleanliness, views, location, deck, hot tub, the privacy, the decor. Some things to think about: a dish drainer, compilation of instructions for tv, fireplace, stove, heating systems. We were able to figure them out but a list with instructions would've helped. The switch for the garbage disposal was behind an art object. Not all windows had screens, a screen door would've been nice. There was one dish towel we had to use as a dish drainer. There was 1 washcloth for 2 people. The 1 hand soap dispenser was 1/4 full. The fireplace did not draft properly resulting in a heavy smoke smell. We loved the property but feel that it is in need of minor upgrades.
