Welcome to The Chalet Caché, a superb rustic log cabin bordered by the magnificent Rivière du Loup.

A sublime intimate property surrounded by its forest and its 160,000 sf of land.

Perfect for outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers.

The chalet is located 5km from the cozy village of St-Alexis-des-Monts.

Come and escape in this quiet and serene space.

For your comfort, this chalet offers an open concept mezzanine with 2 beds, a queen and a double as well as a sofa-bed (double).

On the ground floor, you have a spacious living room as well as an interior wood fireplace to create memorable memories with your loved ones.

You will have a great time cooking gourmet meals in this superb fully equipped kitchen.

Ideal for 4 adults and 2 kids.

Infos to note:

Access to the entire chalet and outdoor fireplace.

Camera at the entrance for security reasons.

For your entertainment, you will have Chromecast on the television along with a Babyfoot table.

Please note that during the winter period (November to April), we do not guarantee access to or operation of the outdoor fireplace due to weather conditions that are beyond our control. However, you will have access to a shovel if you ever want to clean the site and use the fireplace. Thank you for your understanding.

The indoor wood fireplace is unavailable from May to September due to a lack of maintenance during this period. It is in service from early October to the end of April. If you would like to use it outside these dates, please feel free to request it, and we will do our best to accommodate you.

For the winter season, you will have snowshoes provided (for 4 adults and 2 children).

For the summer season, you will have at your disposal 1 canoe and 1 double kayak.

We provide one bath towel per person. Extra towels are not provided.

A y retourner sans faute

Tres propre, beau terrain, acces a la riviere en parcourant le boisé. Merveilleuse grande balancoir sur le balcon. La cuisine est vraiment tout équipé.

Si vous rêvez d’un espace retiré à proximité d’une rivière sinueuse à fond sablonneux, vous y êtes. Le style de cette maison de rondins, empreint de quiétude, l’odeur des boiseries et la déco, nous ont charmés. Un séjour qui convenait tout à fait au besoin que nous ressentions de nous reconnecter avec les balades en kayak/canot et de pouvoir, en prime, y emmener notre jeune toutou. Nous n’avons que des éloges à formuler à l’égard des proprios. Seul souhait, pouvoir y revenir.

Great Cottage!!

Fantastic place to stay especially for say a twosome who are just needing a break. The cottage is a real log style two floor cabin. Very rustic and yet very modern and very clean. The location is very quiet but Hotel Sacacomie is nearby and a good place to eat out. There are fish in the river too that runs at the back of the cottage. The folks who manage it (Dany, Sophia and Carla) are always in touch.

Quaint getaway for two friends

My friend and I had a lovely stay at this cabin. There are two beds in the loft area this was perfect for the two of us. There are no bedroom doors so noise might be something to consider if having a larger group stay here. The location was excellent. A hiking trail nearby and also a spa located at a hotel 20min away.
