Nice small place for 2

Beautiful view of the docks and lake. We put our paddle boards right in off the dock and pumped them up on the shade next to the pool. Be aware there are lots of stairs to get up to this condo. I would say my only complaint is that we had to hand wash (no dishwasher) the dishes and take out the garbage before leaving which I feel should be included in the cleaning fee.

As advertised

Stayed a few nights for a conference. It was perfect for a single person. Could work for a couple as well, but any more than that would be pushing it. I would stay again if the opportunity arises. The only downside was Google maps. The directions were really in accurate, and it tried to take me on a road that didn’t really exist. Not the fault of the property owner, but be aware that if you use Google for navigation, it will be wrong.

Heron Bay Condo

We came here for our son’s Youth World Series. The condo rental F-401 was perfect for our family of 4 for five nights. The view from the balcony was quite serene and beautiful. It was one of the cleanest rental that we’ve ever stayed in. It was well equipped with everything that we needed. Kitchen essentials were all there. They even had an electrical black stone grill for use on the balcony! The entrance keypad was low on battery and the property manager came to change it out in no time. Our kids loved the clean swimming pool. Late afternoon swimming was perfect with all the shade. We loved the unit and enjoyed the friendly locals that we met. I would definitely stay here again if I’m in the area.

No internet or tv

Room was lovely and clean but the deck was full of cobwebs and spiderwebs. Also the internet didn’t work and we also couldn’t get the tv to work. We were also charged a $162 cleaning fee. The only thing the cleaners had to do was wash and dry towels and sheets and make up the bed. Seemed like an awfully big cleaning fee

After reviewing your feedback with the homeowner, they wanted to clarify the following:- Spiderwebs can form quickly, especially in natural settings like this one. We do our best to manage them, but a broom is provided in the utility closet for guest use during your stay.- The cleaning fee covers comprehensive cleaning tasks, including laundry, sanitizing, and preparing the property for the next guest. Additionally, it is important to note the cleaning fee is significantly less than you stated.- We were unaware of the internet and TV issues during your stay, as no contact was made with our guest support team. Instructions for operating the TV are included in the welcome binder for future reference.Thank you for your feedback, and we hope to provide a more seamless experience for our future guests.

Perfect

Mark and Kim’s place was perfect! My husband and I booked an impromptu trip to Osage Beach and needed to find a place quickly. We were delighted to find such a cute and clean space right near where we wanted to be. It was the perfect place for us to stay and such a great value. Thank you!

Great stay!

My husband and I stayed at the property for about a week. It was just the right size for a couple. Plenty of room. The deck had comfy chairs as well as a table for dining. The view was great. We were able to see and enjoy the big water. The unit was clean and well cared for. Plenty of bedding and towels to chose from so no need to bring your own. Communication with the owner was great. He gave us some good recommendations of restaurants and things to do. We would definitely return!

Pleasant stay

The place was nice but it could’ve been cleaned better and we found vapes underneath the bed and crumbs everywhere so you might want to talk to your cleaning lady plus the deck was very old and rundown and not very comfortable to sit on

Not staying here again

I booked this place months ago. Based on how cute it looks and the listing said they follow the CDC cleaning for covid. Right before we are going to get there I received a message that informed me I needed to sign a contract before I could receive the code to get in. I think this could have been taken care of a lot sooner like maybe before the time had passed for a refund if I didn't agree with the contract. Also we booked a boat slip and was told it had a lift which made us very happy. Upon arrival I asked for the boat slip number and was told I didn't have a lift. The condo was really cute but the house cleaning person did not clean good at all not even close to CDC recommendation. The stove had food in the drip pans, microwave wasn't cleaned nor the fridge. The toilet not only had mold coming down from the rim but in the actual bowl. There were piss marks in front of the bowl and you could write your name in the soap scum in the shower. I have pictures of all of this. I informed the owner and all they did was tell me they would inform the housekeeper. I paid for housekeeping they could have at least gave me my money back for that.

Michelle, even with your poor rating, I still do appreciate you bringing what you claim you saw to my attention so any items could be addressed. But as you can also see, your review is completely different from all our other reviews which state how nice and clean the property is. We always appreciate constructive reviews that are given to help improve the property. We visited the property after your stay and noted drips on the inside of oven door, a missing burner pan and a small spill in the microwave. So these issues were addressed with cleaning staff. And unfortunately the lake area does have hard water. As far as the slip with no lift, you stated you had never operated a boat lift before, so I moved you to a slip without a lift vs showing you how to operate the lift, thinking this would be less complicated and easier for you to manage. This lessened the possibility of damage to your boat or my property. I did discounted the normal nightly rate from $40 with the lift to $25 without one. I’m also not sure what prompted the call about the neighboring marina boat ramp. I have no control over what they do. Also the “contract” you received was the DocuSign lease which documents your arrival/depart times and totals paid to VRBO. You were informed about this lease document the day you booked the property, and that you would receive it the week of your arrival for signature. You could have easily cancelled when you received the email the day of your booking stating you would be receiving this lease. Receiving the lease the week of your arrival has no bearing on whether or not you can cancel the booking. Per the Relaxed cancellation policy, you have up to 14 days prior to arrival to cancel and receive 100% refund of monies paid, after that you have up 7 days prior for a 50% refund of monies paid. So, you could have cancelled your booking within the timelines laid out in the policy, regardless of the day the lease document was emailed. Mark

Great place to stay

This unit was in a great location and we really enjoyed the view. The amenities were good with the Wi-Fi availability and necessities stocked in the condo. The deck was a little dirty due to all the insect webs, but the condo inside was clean. The bedroom needed additional curtains because the lights outside are very bright, so it was hard to sleep. Otherwise, I would recommend this rental.

Excellent little get away!

My husband and I went here to get away for our anniversary for a weekend. Great place, lots of resturants within 10 minutes but our favorite part was fishing off the docks. You can tell locals know eachother and are extremely friendly and welcoming! Perfect place for us to spend quality time and unplug, thank you for letting us stay!

We had a great weekend away

This condo was just big enough for a nice weekend getaway for my husband and I. We enjoyed that the condo was close to everything, yet away from some of the busier areas around Osage beach. Lots to do, the pool is nice, condo was clean. They are older condos but they did a nice job keeping it updated. My husband joked I needed to compliment the cleaning team as I ran into the glass door one evening thinking it was still open! Lol We also really loved all the deer that would come around in the evening due to it being a little less busy of an area.
