Step back in time at this beautifully restored 1850s country farmhouse. A perfect getaway for couples or families to enjoy a catch up or a special occasion. Just one hour from Geelong and under two hours from Melbourne, this gorgeous bluestone home features all the modern-day comforts of free Wi-Fi, Smart Televisions, comfy beds and split systems while offering a tranquil setting to get away from the hustle and bustle and enjoy the quiet tranquility of the countryside. Enjoy long walks around the farm or get togethers around the fire pit at night. Day trips to Ballarat are easily achievable where you will find Sovereign Hill, the Botanic Gardens and Lake Wendouree, fabulous restaurants and cafes.
The home offers five large bedrooms, two separate living rooms with dining tables, laundry, three bathrooms, a modern equipped kitchen with wall oven, electric hot plates and dishwasher and two large Coonaras which heat the home.
A large verandah wraps around the front of the home where you can enjoy a lovely barbecue and outdoor setting.

Country escape

Our group stayed 2 nights and couldn't have been happier. The host (Kylie) offered to light the fires for us on arrival (but it was too warm), 24 fresh eggs were left for us, the bedrooms were perfect, king beds can be made into king singles. The pictures online definitely are accurate - the house and grounds were just lovely, you could just feel the history. The welcoming sheep along the very long driveway were a bonus. Thank you for having us Kylie. I would definitely recommend this stay.

Wonderful

We had a wonderful long weekend and everything about this stay was amazing. The home and property are even more impressive than the photos online suggest. Perfect set up for families, the kids loved the outdoor fire pit and morning walks to see all the animals. Highly recommend.
