Meadowood Cottage is situated in stunning North Qualicum. Its more rural setting allows you to truly escape from it all. With an outdoor patio, fire pits, play area and access to a private trail navigating the perimeter of the property; its very easy to relax at the cottage! Equipped with a full Kitchen, you can easily make your favorite meals. Maybe you just want to take a nap in the King-size bed or have a soak in the full-size bathtub? No matter what, it will feel like home.

The cottage is clean and nicely appointed with lots of kitchen equipment and bathroom supplies. The air conditioner was wonderful to cope with the hot weather. The property owner and her family were a pleasure to meet and my daughter and I enjoyed spending time with them. It was an 11 out of 10 experience!

Cute and cozy is the only way to describe this wonderful place. It is a way (12 minutes) from Qualicum itself, but it is so quite, it makes it worth the few extra kms

A restful sanctuary in beautiful Qualicum!

It was more than what I needed for my time in Qualicum! The hosts were awesome, and the place was perfect! It is about 20 minutes away from Qualicum, so if you can stay closer and don't have transportation, that's okay. Otherwise, it was quiet, clean, and cozy—just what someone like me needed for a solo restful adventure! There was so much to experience, and I look forward to when I can go back. Thank you, Yelena, for hosting me & making sure I had all I needed!

Amazing stay

Spent my birthday weekend here with my girlfriend and it was the most beautiful and relaxing property, so much to see and do around the area and the host was so kind, first time booking a place with Vrbo however Yelena made everything very easy! I won't forget this stay and am very thankful for the great memories made there!

A gem of a forest

Our hosts truly exceeded our expectations with their warmth and genuine hospitality. The accommodation itself was delightful, featuring tasteful decor that created a cozy and inviting atmosphere. Everything was exceptionally clean, which really made us feel at home during our family weekend getaway. We were particularly impressed by the location—just a stone's throw away from the magnificent falls, which made for a perfect, short hike filled with stunning views and the refreshing sound of cascading water. This experience has left a lasting impression on us, and we are already looking forward to returning to this charming spot for another memorable escape!

Perfect for a creative retreat

I was looking for a quiet place to work on some music compositions and this cottage was absolutely perfect. The cabin is very comfortable and well equipped, with a comfy bed and a wonderful kitchen space. The location is serene with great opportunities for forest walks. I will definitely be back!

An Island Sanctuary

This was the second time that I stayed at Meadowood Cottage in the past 2 months. It is a spacious, well-appointed, well-designed and clean cottage. It is situated on a charming property. The hostess is responsive and accommodating. My new favourite Island sanctuary!

Lovely experience

Had a great time at the cottage, was spacious, clean, well equipped and private. Bathroom toiletries and kitchen equipment well supplied. Great location, 20 min drive into Qualicum Beach. Enjoyed the boundary walk.

Lovely Getaway!

We had a great stay. The cabin is well appointed and had everything we needed. Great big tub, king size bed and the kitchen even had a dishwasher. The host was very kind and made us feel taken care of but also gave us our space to relax. Highly recommend staying here!!

Amazing

We had a great stay! My boyfriend and his parents came to the cottage. The place was clean in a nice quiet area, great for outdoor adventures. Hiked to the waterfalls and did the little trail around the property. The hosts were very friendly and helpful as we took our new 25" trailer.

Brilliant

Lovely family sharing their spacr. we felt totally independent in the little house on their property. Nicely appointed...20 minutes drive to ammenities...quiet despite being close to the road. Nice walking in the area...cute country store. Wed go back for sure.

Weekend at Qualicum Beach

Attending Brant woodworking and art show in Qualicum. Had meals at cottage...with everything we needed. Lovely setting, private and quiet, nice amenities, spotlessly clean and convenient. Host available on property and very responsive. Nearby falls were a must see!

Wonderful Retreat

Meadowood Cottage is a perfect place to come for a restful retreat. It was such a blessing to get away from the busyness of life to relax in such a peaceful setting. The gazebo and outdoor sitting areas provided wonderful spaces for being outside. Yelena, KC and the boys are fabulous hosts. They were so welcoming and informative. There are many hiking trails, waterfalls and things to do within an hour drive. We enjoyed 2 weeks here and would highly recommend it!

Great getaway!

Place was great for us. Might be a little far out for some people. Corner store is close if needed. About 1/2 hour to town. Didn’t bother us at all. Very clean, everything you need is there. Cute little place! I’m sure if you needed anything, a quick call and you would have it! All in all was very happy and would go back again.

It’s very peaceful. Host was quick to respond to any questions. 30 second drive to some beautiful waterfalls. 15-20 min drive to town. Would definitely stay here again.

Hello There! Welcome! Having grown up on the Sunshine Coast, BC, I am your stereotypical West Coaster. I love my flipflops in the winter and drinking my coffee by the ocean. Having spent a large portion of my life traveling, I feel so blessed to be settled down In Qualicum Beach (One of my favorite spots in the world) with my wonderful husband and 2 little boys.

Our acreage is situated North of Qualicum Beach in the beautiful Benchlands of Mount Arrowsmith. We love this area so much... less than 1 minute away from Little Qualicum Falls Provincial Park and 15 minutes to Qualicum Beach and Town, its the ideal place to be! We have even added a trail around the perimeter of our property and are working on building the yard of our dreams! We hope you enjoy!

As mentioned above, we live right next to Little Qualicum Falls Provincial Park. These falls are one of the most beautiful on Vancouver Island! Living up the mountain and away from the town, we have the benefit of being able to see the stars so clearly, you feel as though you could touch them. While following our trail around the property you'll come across a viewpoint of Kinkade Creek and the beautiful forest that surrounds it.
