Beautiful property, very peaceful.

Very easy check in & out. We'll stocked kitchen, extremely clean. Spent a lot of time on the porch, great view, it was very peaceful.

Beautiful home on quiet road

Enjoyed our stay at Sparta Mountain cabin. Cabin was as described. Owner was very helpful before we arrived as well as, while we were there. Owner even left a welcome basket for us, to enjoy. Home is easy to access, just off hard top road. Just minutes from Sparta and 30 minutes to W Jefferson. We’ll be back again!

Beautiful and peaceful

My family of 5 had such a nice stay. Tim was very helpful when it came to details about the property. The house was beautiful and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the back porch and all found the beds to be very comfortable. The location was so pretty--a bit outside town, but close enough to go into Sparta for groceries and restaurants. The drives we took around the area were beautiful. We'd definitely come back and recommend this property to others!

Relaxing and comfortable

While only there for a 5 day stay, we were pleased with the comfortable beds, the immense porch with plenty of seating and beautiful view and the overall cleanliness of the rental. The well stocked kitchen and television made for at home comfort. If you are looking for a quiet and comfortable location this is the place.

Relaxing weekend

Wonderful place to stay. The back porch was so relaxing with the rocking chairs and swings. The house was spotless and had everything you needed. Beautiful place inside and out, would definitely stay again. Thanks Tim for everything.

Terrific Stay

This was a terrific property and a terrific stay during a very hot time in the Piedmont -- but not as much in the mountains! We did several nearby hikes followed by ice cream....we appreciated the deck, the TV, the bath and the kitchen. Thanks to our host!

Christmas at the Cabin

Our family rented this beautiful cabin for our holiday vacation and couldn't have been more pleased! We loved the layout and great room with stone fireplace. The kitchen was stocked with every tool one needs to prepare meals. The surrounding area where it's located is private and so peaceful. The front porch area views are wonderful. We watched deer and a flock of wild turkeys! Will certainly visit this area again. Thank you!!

Love this house!!

Second stay at this house. Owners have thought of everything. Well equipped kitchen with all the appliances. Beautiful porch, comfy furniture, privacy & wildlife. Easy to get to. Lovingly decorated plus wonderful & thoughtful owners. Can't wait to visit again!

Mountain family reunion

Great three night stay in the cabin. For once this property totally mirrored the description. Lots of space and the kitchen has everything you could possibly need. The hubby played golf to times and we went to West Jefferson and toured Sparta. We were there to see family and the location was perfect for that too. Would definitely recommend!

Great cabin

We had a wonderful time. Loved the cabin it was beautiful clean and everything you can imagine provided. Beds were very comfortable. Owner contacted me night before with information and answer any questions. Loved the back porch with swings and rocking chairs.

Break From Reality

We had a great stay !! We needed a break from all the craziness of life and this was it !! House was very well kept! It was clean and cozy! Kids loved exploring around the property and sitting by the fire. Huge covered porch was peaceful and relaxing. We definitely enjoyed our stay and would recommend to friends and family. Owners were very accommodating and made sure our stay was perfect.

Perfect

We loved staying at this property! It was absolutely beautiful and very clean. I’m not sure I have ever stayed in a more well appointed rental. We really enjoyed the covered back porch, especially since the weather was not great! The owner was very attentive in making sure we had a great stay! We would absolutely come back.

Beautiful Cabin

We had wonderful time. Tim was great called night before with some information. Unlocked door for us upon arrival Cabin was just as pictured very clean and well stocked with everything you could possibly need. Beds were very comfortable and the cabin was beautifully decorated. Enjoyed spending time on the porch with the swings and rocking chairs. Will definitely stay there again if we visit the area again.

A Piece of Heaven

5 stars does not do this property and our stay at this cabin justice. From the moment we arrived, we didn't ever want to leave! The house was beautifully decorated and very well maintained. The home is nestled on a peaceful and gorgeous property. We were even greeted by a herd of deer in the backyard when we arrived. I could have stayed on the back deck swinging on the porch swings forever. The owners were very easy to work with and answered all our questions and messages promptly. I would highly recommend staying at this property, and we plan on making this an annual vacation destination. Thank you for making this such an enjoyable trip for me and my family.

Lovely Home

This was our 4th stay in this home. As always it was a perfect place for friends & family. Went shopping in Sparta & West Jefferson. Hit up Grandfather & Piccone winery. Walked through the woods & splashed in the New River at the state park. Ate breakfast at the Pines restaurant. The house is very comfortable & well appointed. Beds comfy & cozy, kitchen well stocked. Plenty of room for friends & family. The back porch is spectacular & perfect for morning coffee, evening drinks, just relaxing with a book, listening to the birds or watching the deer stroll by. We love this house, Sparta & the vibe of the area.

Mountain Top

We wanted to get away from lights, noise, and traffic. This was the place to go. It was on a dead-end drive with no traffic nor lights. We watched deer feed every night in the yard. Needless to say, there were only nature's sounds. So peaceful. The sleeping was heavenly. Tim was a super host. It was as presented in the pics. The porch had all the things we love on one: rockers, swings, and a glider. This is the most relaxing place ever.
