3 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, Sleeps 11
When it comes to location, Misty Mountain Hideaway’s is close to perfect. The 3-bedroom log cabin is in the Covered Bridge Resort, just 5 minutes from the Pigeon Forge Parkway, the town’s main thoroughfare. When you stay here, you can quickly and easily get to just about every attraction the area has to offer, from Dollywood to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, from dinner theaters to golf. Yet the resort is so peaceful and beautiful, you can easily forget just how close to the action you are.
And Misty Mountain Hideaway has, even more, going for it than a convenient, restful locale. The 2-story cabin is an outstanding combination of comfort and rustic charm, with spectacular views of the Smoky Mountains tossed into the mix.
The main floor’s huge wraparound deck is ideal for admiring the views, savoring the fresh mountain air, and listening to the birds singing in the sunshine. Sip your morning juice or coffee on one of the deck’s rockers; enjoy a meal at the outdoor dining table; stargaze late at night from the deck swing. And any time of day or night is perfect for luxuriating in the deck’s hot tub, though it’s especially restorative after a day spent hiking, rafting, biking, or fishing.
The cabin’s interior is just as relaxing and welcoming as its deck, with wood-planked floors, walls, and ceilings, comfortable furnishings, and plenty of windows to bring the outdoors in. There’s loads of seating in the living area for everyone to gather together to watch the big game on the flat-panel TV or play Pictionary. In winter the stone-surround fireplace, located between the living and dining areas, will make the space even more charming than it already is.
As well as being near attractions, Misty Mountain Hideaway is close to markets—a good thing, because once you see the large, fabulously equipped kitchen, you’ll want to cook at least some of your meals here rather than dine out all the time. Stainless-steel appliances, cookware, tableware, plenty of counter space, a dishwasher to make cleanup a snap: The kitchen has it all.
After dinner—or any other time, really—you can head upstairs to the game room to challenge the others to football or to sit down at the table to play rummy or Monopoly. The upstairs is also home to the master suite, which is a haven unto itself. The elegance of the furnishings—four-poster queen-size bed, upholstered chaise, luxe curtains—complements the rustic refinement of the beamed ceiling and planked walls. In addition to a flat-panel TV, the room has a truly pampering jetted tub as well as a private bathroom.
The other 2 bedrooms are on the main floor. One is furnished with a queen-size bed, the other a queen. Each has its own flat-panel TV and is decorated in the same serene, inviting style as the rest of Misty Mountain Hideaway. These bedrooms share the cabin’s 2nd full bathroom.
Have additional guests? The game room’s sofa opens into a queen-size bed, as does the living room sofa. And for good measure, the settee converts into a single bed, so that Misty Mountain Hideaway can sleep 11 people in all.
Among the cabin’s other amenities are free WiFi, a charcoal grill, and a washer and dryer (for once you can return home from vacation with a suitcase full of clean clothes!). And in the summer, you’ll have free access to Covered Bridge Resort’s heated swimming pool.
Gorgeous views, a restful location that’s also close to the area’s attractions, amenities ranging from a hot tub to a fully equipped kitchen: Misty Mountain Hideaway has everything you need to enjoy your best vacation yet. Book your stay today; we can’t wait to see you!

Entry code we were given was not correct. Wifi didn't work upon arrival but was fixed. I'm not sure what was cleaned after the last people left but someone should have been sent to check and freshen up before our arrival. There were dead bugs everywhere. The bathtub upstairs had 10 dead flies. Dead flies and ladybugs were in all of the rooms. Carpet had not been vacuumed. Floors had not been swept. Toothpaste top and ticket stubs laying in the floors. We lifted up a washcloth and someone had wiped their toothpaste all over a towel. We could have called and complained but then we would have been inconvenienced with having someone come clean while we were there. These things should have been done before our arrival!!! Not sure how you can justify charging a cleaning fee when obviously I didn't get a clean cabin.
Monica, thank you for taking the time to share your review. Your input, as well as all our guest feedback is vitally important as we want all guests expectations to be met upon arrival. We sincerely apologies for falling short in some areas. We wish you would have let us know about these issues when customer service called the morning after your arrival to see how the cabin was. You indicated that everything was fine. We would have liked to have been given us the opportunity re-clean. We could have done it while you were out visiting the area. Again, you have our sincere apologies.
beautiful, clean, nice view, very comfortable beds. very nice stay!!
Our family came in for NQC and loved this cabin! We would defenitly stay here again next year.I am very picky and always check for any bugs before moving in, and we never saw any bugs of any kind all week, so i'm thinking they keep these properties sprayed, so I was very happy with that!! Thank You
Thank you Ryan for staying with us. We are glad you enjoyed your stay and NQC. We do have monthly pest control for all our properties. We look forward to having you stay with us again on your next trip to the Smokies.
The cabin was so clean and the view was great! Really close to town and the roads were not so curvy and winding that you were having to brake constantly. The only bad thing was the WI-FI wouldn't connect with the pass code given. :( But other than that, it was a great place to stay and would come back again!
Donna, thank you for staying with us. We are pleased your cousins weekend was a success.

Loved the cabin. Very well taken care of. Larger grill would have been helpful. Enjoyed the pool. Would stay again.
