Looking for a peaceful getaway on Limerick Lake? Our charming log and stone cottage comes with 2 bedrooms, kitchen, living room and a fishing lake right at your door step.

Access to this get-away is two kilometers by boat from Limerick Lake Lodge and Marina; bring your own boat, or book the marina’s water taxi.

The water is hand-pumped into the kitchen from the lake; solar panels provide power for phones, lights and small appliances including the refrigerator.

There is cell service but no wifi. The stove and oven are propane and hibachi’s are welcome. The privy out back is a short hike uphill.

This cottage is a one-of-a kind, hand-hewn log and stone cabin. It will require that you be savvy to the environment - using the fireplaces safely, storing food properly so as not to attract mice, and not overloading the solar system.

This is a truly rugged place and not appropriate for toddlers or people not used to walking on trails.

There is swimming, and canoing feet from the door and any other watersports which you have equipment for such as fishing, windsurfing etc.

It will give you the chance to relax to the sounds of loons calling in the night, water lapping on the shore, sunrises across the lake and experience an all too rare chance to recuperate in nature.
