Make your way to either Tuktuk Waimea or Long Beach Tavern for a beachfront meal, or try out Waikanae Beach Takeaways for some classic Kiwi fish and chips. The local Four Square is also located a three-minute drive away from Waikanae Waves.

As the property has unfenced access to the lagoon with only a small barrier, adults should closely supervise young children while outside to ensure they are safe around water.

All guests should take care when using the external stairs as they are steep and do not have a handrail.
