The host was extremely responsive and even shared the recipe for the delicious homemade honey bun cake they had waiting for us! The house is lovely and large, with lots of sleeping spaces. We didn’t mind not having a TV or WiFi and instead played games on the big, beautiful kitchen table and relaxed in the peaceful living room where the couches are super comfy. It’s a wonderful property for a large group or a few families vacationing together. We offered a few minor suggestions to the host, but overall really loved our stay.

We had a wonderful stay! The home was beautiful and made for a perfect, cozy fall retreat. The spaces were large and comfortable—great for a group with multiple children. We really appreciated the unexpected amenities like kids’ toys, small chairs, and the outdoor swing set. The kitchen was well stocked, and the homemade honeybun left for us was such a thoughtful touch. The checkout process was easy with no surprises. A couple of notes that might help future guests: some of the doors can be opened from the inside even when locked (we just used a bench to block them from the toddlers), and there’s no TV. This wasn’t a problem for us since there were plenty of board games, cornhole in the garage, ping pong, and other activities, but it’s good to know ahead of time.We really appreciated the hosts’ communication and flexibility with our travel plans. While the home isn’t fully secluded—it’s set in a large field with a few neighbors nearby, including some with horses/cows that the kids loved watching from afar—inside it definitely feels peaceful and private.Highly recommend!

The house was great! We had our annual Girls Weekend trip and everything was as expected. There was an issue we had but the host was quick to respond and fix it and we enjoyed the stay. I’d recommend this spot for large groups of any age and we’re already thinking of going back next year!

Great home for large gatherings. 15 of us were in town for the Mussleman 70.3 and stayed for 4 nights. The house had plenty of space and everything that we needed. Really enjoyed the stay and would recommend this property to anyone looking for a great place to stay where you can relax and enjoy the company of those that you are traveling with.

Grea Stay

This house is amazing. The pictures do not do it justice- there are so many extra rooms and space. We had several families with children and had ample room. The best part is the very large backyard/land. Great location. We will stay again!

Great Family Escape

Jerry's property was a wonderful escape for our family. The house is large and able to fit 12 people and we never felt on top of each other. He was quick to respond when we ran out of dishwasher soap. Also only 15 minutes from a variety of wineries which was a plus.

Simply Beautiful!

This property is simply beautiful, from the rustic interior appointments to the exterior landscaping. Spacious living areas were plenty for our group of 13 (plus one dog). Don’t let the lack of TV or wifi scare you off. Verizon and AT&T coverage was good enough to cover watching playoff baseball! Jerry (our host) was extremely responsive, to the point of delivering a fresh propane tank and grill brush within minutes! We will definitely consider staying here in the future.

Family Seneca Lake Vacation

We stayed at this home with our four grown children, their spouses, and 5 young grandchildren under the age four and under. The property perfectly suited our family, and the common spaces handled our large crowd well! The property is wonderful for hanging out, and we enjoyed the firepit!

Beautiful and peaceful home

Your house is beautiful and spacious yet cozy that we and our children enjoyed and felt so welcome. Thank you for the fresh sourdough bread and cinnamon bread you provided, our kids and adults alike loved it. The owner was prompt in communications and had stocked the home with supplies. Loved the spacious outdoor backyard, fire pit, table tennis and cornhole set provided by host.

Fantastic

Our group of 10 adults (and two little ones) loved staying here! The place had all of the amenities we needed for disconnected quality time with each other. Lots of fires by the fire pit and group breakfasts every morning. We had a small issue with a clogged drain at one point but the host was awesome and super responsive about it and we had no issues after that. DEFINITELY recommend!

Great house, lots of space and accommodations.

We had a great stay at this house. There was plenty of space for all 14 of us to comfortably stay. Everything we needed was there. The only kind of complaint I had were all the motion lights. If you slept on the couch downstairs or on the pull out sofa the motion light goes on everytime someone gets up and there was no way to turn them off. Also the house was very hot and we could not figure out the heating systems. The remotes didn't work for the cooling systems and there was no screens in the windows to open.

Family New Years Vacation

The home is beautiful and spacious. Loved the greeting surprise….Happy New Year message on chalk board as we entered and delicious sour dough bread with cinnamon butter. The decor is amazing and we lots of comfortable bedrooms for our group of 17. 3 bathrooms was also a plus. The kids had a great time playing ping pong and riding scooters in heated garage. Our 4 pups had fun roaming the large yard. Had to make one service call and wow, courteous and responsive. Our issue was resolved in 5 minutes. Could not have asked for more. Our family highly recommends as a get away.

Parents wine weekend away

This was an amazing weekend away! A group of us wanted a parents weekend away and this was perfect. The house was big, clean and beautiful and it was actually nice to not have TVs or WiFi to get escape for a while. Great location to relax but also close to wineries. The owner was very responsive and helpful. We would definitely go back!

Mother’s get away

We have been doing an annual Mothers Getaway for over 30 years. We rented cabins at Letchworth State Park for the first 25 years and then decided we wanted something a bit more posh. We rented a friends cottage and really enjoyed the comfort of a home. This year we tried VRBO and the Romulus home met all our expectations. GREAT getaway.

Great Stay

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house! It was large enough for five families. Everything was clean and organized. All the beds were comfortable. We played volleyball and table tennis all day long. Kids enjoyed little toys and scooters around the house. There were a lot of clean towels and washcloths as well as little shampoo bottles and body wash. Jerry was always responsive and helpful with our little issues and questions. There were many chairs and tables outside. The kitchen was big enough for our large group. All the appliances were working fine. I would add a knife set with scissors and a few extra cutting boards. It was a great experience overall. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a large group family/friends vacation.

Fantastic Getaway

This was a great place for a large group! Plenty of rooms with comfy beds, firewood was provided for the fire pit along with plenty of chairs for sitting around it, and the sunset view over the open field was great. A great place to spend a birthday trip with friends and family.

Great place to stay!!!

I was a little skeptical at first because I’m typically someone who likes a place to have a lot of reviews and this place had 0 when I booked it but wow I’m so glad I took the gamble!!! The house was huge with plenty of space and very nice deck areas with rocking chairs. Secluded spot, easy drive to wineries. The host was very easy to communicate with via text and they even had a fresh baked pie for us upon check in. Can’t beat the price on this place for what you get, highly recommend! *Important to note that there are no TVs if you’re into that kind of thing but we didn’t mind at all!*
