Place was gorgeous. Wonderful location. Kitchen could use a few basic items to get travelers started.

Mostly good

This unit was clean and comfortable. There was enough space for everyone to spread out. Some of the lightswitches are in weird places. We could not watch tv in the livingroom because there was not a working remote. The portable AC unit upstairs leaked and soaked the carpet. That's going to lead to mold.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unit was very clean. Everything we needed was there. Loved that it was a villa so the kids could play and we didn't have to worry about people underneath us or beside us. The only complaints was that the upstairs room was extremely hot. Had to sleep downstairs on the couch one night due to it being so hot. The stairs are rough if you aren't used to walking up and down stairs or not in good shape. It was close to the pools and the beach walk was very convenient. Louisiana Lagniappe was on property and was the best food we have ever had in Destin.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall I would rate our stay a 6 our of 10. The table to sit outside was falling apart. We had 6 adults and to didn't have room for us all to sit outside on the upper deck. They did not have a closet or really any drawers in the upstairs bedroom for you to put your things away for the week. The refrigerator leaked water on us a lot. It didn't make ice hardly at all. The knobe on the stove did turn on correctly. In the dishwasher the area where you put the detergent didn't close. The chair off the bedroom patio was falling apart so couldn't sit on that either. The door lock was very frustrating to use. Not to mention the owner has a ring doorbell so basically you have a feel of no trust and he is watching over you.just feel as though he could have had more asentials that are cheep to have in the house to use. We have been coming to the same complex for 3 years. It's hard to find a place that is set up for adults and have their own space and bathrooms or all have bigger beds. So this place was nice on that fact. Had our own bathrooms and bigger beds. Even though upstairs still have 2 queen beds. All in all good location and okay set up for us. Despite no closet upstairs and the mirror is very low in the upstairs bedroom. It was a good location and nice to have your own unit.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A nice place. There were some issues . We got locked out our first night there. Also there was glass shards in the carpet. We several cut feet over the course of our stay. Other that those issues we had a great stay.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love coming to Destin and have stayed at sand piper cove every time. Overall, it’s a very nice vacation, kids love the resort, easy access to the beach. However, few things that would make me try a different resort or area: the condos are bare bones. A condo that sleeps 8 only has 1-2 rolls of toilet paper, 2 packs of dishwasher soap, 2 garbage bags, 0 laundry soap, no other toiletries, no spices to cook with not even salt and pepper. nothing to even purchase on the property. Then you are forced to go buy stuff from target and at the end of your stay you throw the rest away. So wasteful. Seems like expensive condos like sand piper should be more equipped with necessary items when staying with a big family for 7 nights. We were there for 7 nights and ran out of that stuff the first day. We also had a huge cockroach greet us in the kitchen sink when we checked in.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Condo was nicely decorated, very clean and great location. Couches were very comfy. Missing some key essentials in kitchen like a strainer, scraper, more than 6 butter knives, larger bowls for serving. I bought bowls, strainer, and some utensils and left for the next renter. Beds a little firm. Mirror in lofted bathroom was too low - couldn't see your face. Internet went out but was service came and restored it the next day. Loved the spaciousness, extra fridge, deck, extra soap, and towels. Despite the kitchen amenities, mirror, etc I would recommend and still stay again.
