Dunes Village Resort - Direct Ocean Front Balcony!

This 755 sq. ft. 1 bedroom/1 bathroom unit is situated on the 10th floor of the Palmetto building at Dunes Village Resort. The unit offers a full kitchen with granite counter tops complete with dishwasher, in unit washer and dryer, free wireless internet, flat screen TVs and an incredible view of the Atlantic Ocean. Enjoy your morning coffee or evening cocktails while you take in the stunning oceanfront views from your large private balcony. The oversized bedroom offers two queen beds, a flat screen tv and plenty of closet space. The full bathroom features granite countertops and tub/shower combo with ceramic tile accent.

The resort is ideally situated in the exclusive north-end residential section of Myrtle Beach known as "The Golden Mile", which adds to the level of luxury associated with your stay at the Dunes Village Resort. Take advantage of unlimited access to Dunes Village Resort's large indoor heated water park that includes a 250 ft Lazy River, three Jacuzzi hot tubs, two adult-size Water Slides, a children's pool and a game room with pool tables and other games. The Resort offers a fully equipped exercise room, a full-service restaurant that includes a lunch and dinner menu, pool bar and food service and Seattle's Best breakfast/coffee facility. *The Water Parks are Heated and fully enclosed from November 22nd – April 30th.

Not What We Expected

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I wish that I could send you pictures of the condo. The bar stools were torn, the bathroom had wood rot/molding that was rubbed off, the kitchen table chairs were all scratched. We knew at the time that there was no one to contact, so I tried to send and email, but so many different companies that took the reservation, VRBO, ,Luxury Beach Rentals it was a worthless cause. Sheets, and towels were excellent.

Good stay. Would stay again

My family had a nice stay here. The view is spectacular. Beach was never overcrowded. The full kitchen was really nice. Beds are comfortable. I would stay again.

Great ocean view balcony

The unit is exactly as described and photos were accurate. With a a longer stay, we appreciated being able to do laundry in this unit and nice strong water pressure in the shower. The jacuzzi tub was also a pleasant surprise.

Vacation/athletic work

My son and I stayed for about 3 weeks while he worked with a pitching coach in the Myrtle Beach area. The condo was perfect as we cooked our meals most days and enjoyed the beach especially the view from the condo. It was chilly so not much pool time. Hopefully next time. the listing was very accurate. We enjoyed our stay.

Such a great place

We really enjoyed our time here. The place was clean and had a great view of the ocean. The water park was a hit fory kids especially on days when the weather was questionable. There were also tons to do around us!!

Great Family Vacation

Traveled to Myrtle Beach with my daughter and grandsons, ages 7 & 11. The condo has a small patio that overlooks the beach/ocean which was perfect for morning coffee and winding down in the evening. Our unit was clean and the perfect size for the 4 of us. We. Fixed breakfast and lunch there and hit some local restaurants for dinner. Location was perfect and we enjoyed mornings on the beach and afternoons the kids enjoyed the pools and water park. The property was very accommodating and the staff were very friendly. Covered and secure parking were also included. I highly recommend this property if traveling with children! The only thing that would’ve made it better would be to supply beach towels.

Great stay for families with kids

Water park and pools were awesome. Some storms came by during our visit so it was nice being able to go indoors and the kids could still have fun. Getting inside the condo with the door code was a breeze! However, going to the hotel front desk to get pool wristbands and parking passes was pretty stressful. Room has a great view of the beach. Couldnt really see the sunrise though due to the hotel next door. My biggest complaint of all is when we areived the latch for the bathroom door was broken so it wouldnt lock. We only stayed a few nights so it didnt seem like something we should call about. With younger kids in the room that latch is very important for privacy. Most parents will under stand that haha

Great place for families

We stayed for 6 nights. The place was more than comfortable for a family of 4. The resort offered a lot of activities for kids of all ages. Everyone was friendly. We liked the location. The beach was clean and family friendly. We had a great trip.

We love every visit to this place....will return

Dunes is always clean and rooms always exceed our expectations. So many amenities that you dont ever have to leave. From recreation such as water slides and pools, in both towers, to dining and drinks...so much to do here.

Life's a Beach!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the laminate flooring throughout. Kitchen is was fairly well equipped. We did purchase a pizza pan and cutter and left it there for others use, but otherwise the unit had everything we needed.

Great family time

This place has all the fun you need for a week or more. Water slides or a few more steps to the pristine sand and ocean. The room has more of a hotel feel with a kitchen. Not a personal feeling of a home. The location and view is awesome. Enjoy coffee and the sunrise every morning on the deck facing the ocean.

Nice view

Really nice room. Nice view. Good air conditioning. Resort was nice. Had tons of stuff for the kids. It is located maybe a mile from the pier. The ceiling fan in the living room area is nice. Laundry was a plus.
