The mountains are calling at this 2-bedroom, 1-bath vacation rental in Hartland, aka the heart of Sequoia National Forest. Get lost among the giant sequoia trees with King's Canyon National Park and Sequoia National Park. Both National Parks offer opportunities for your family to hike and fish. When you're not out exploring, warm up by the wood-burning fire or relax on the furnished deck, complimented by the soothing soundtrack of the on-site creek. Adventures that'll last a lifetime await!

our experience was excellent, very neat cabin, tranquil and quiet. very remote location make sure to contact the owners for direction, they are absolutely helpful. not recommend to drive the night , very narrow roads.

It is quite obvious that this property is well loved. This wonderful home and environment provided an absolutely lovely backdrop for our time together in deep nature as we reconnected to our individual selves, connected with one another, and communed with sweet and precious nature. Great cabin next to a tranquil stream

Our host was amazing in communicating with us about the property and things to do in the area. The cabin was exactly what we were looking for a small family trip to visit Kings Canyon and Sequoia parks. We would definitely stay again.

The cabin is cute and cozy but it was extremely difficult to find and was 45 minutes away from any kind of store or gas station. Directions for sign in and out were never sent. It’s across from a church camp down a gravel trail, so our GPS took us to the camp’s baseball field and we drove up and down the road before we saw it listed as the house number plus a B which was confusing. No service so we couldn’t try getting on the app or calling. The road to get to/from the cabin takes about 3 minutes to go one mile bc of the winding. It was not convenient to cook or store food in the old style appliances and the dishes were dirty. They had water but you can’t use the faucet water to drink or eat. They also asked that the washer and dryer for laundry not be used except for an emergency but the laundry was part of why I had booked the house. We booked it to be close to Kings Canyon and be able to save money by cooking and packing meals but the tiny freezer and distance had us eating out a lot more. Again, it was cute but not close to Kings Canyon, gas stations, or stores. (My daughter loved it bc she felt like it was a fairy cabin and we decided if it was a place we went to for a girls weekend to read it would have been perfect; just not a great place for our family of 6 to go hiking)

The owners had everything you would need for your stay. Just bring whatever food you like. There is a wood burning fire pit near the creek, a gas burning fire pit on the deck with a gas grill. The cabin is fully furnished. During our stay the neighbors were not home so it was very quiet and secluded. The owners were nice enough to have a binder giving directions to the National parks as well.

Great stay!

The property was beautiful, the place was extremely cozy, and the hosts had everything we could possibly need at during our stay. Would highly recommended staying here and heading to kings canyon!

This cabin is absolutely beautiful! I could go on and on about my stay here. The owners are lovely people and you can tell that so much thought went into creating this little slice of heaven. We can't wait to come back in the summer. 15/10!!

Beautiful cabin

We loved the cabin and its beautiful trees around it . Clean, comfortable beds , nice hot shower . Refrigerator could have been bigger .

A Cabin in the woods

This beautiful, well appointed cabin on the river did not disappoint . Very clean, lovely views, very nice bedding and very very quiet. It was a perfect weekend getaway from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

We had the absolute best trip at this beautiful cabin! We were celebrating our anniversary and we both agreed that this was our favorite trip we've taken yet, and we take one every year :) Meredith and Jacob are amazing hosts, so friendly, kind, and responsive! We were both thoroughly impressed at all the little details they thought of throughout the cabin, from the decor to supplying all the essentials we'd need, we truly felt like they took outstanding care of us. We had an issue with the stove malfunctioning and Jacob came out within an hour to fix it for us. Sooo kind of them!! We will absolutely be back and will be on the lookout for the next cabin they are renovating too. This location was so peaceful and relaxing, we loved being "off-the-grid" (with wifi - thank you for that haha!). Our dogs absolutely loved the cabin too! 100/10 would recommend to anyone. Thank you guys again!
