This place was so perfect for what we needed, we arrived to a homemade chocolate cake that was amazing!! Food for breakfast in the fridge with some sodas, chips and candy. The place was clean and had everything needed for our weekend stay. Our google map did take us to the wrong location first time, sent us to Western Shore, very nice lady told us where we needed to go. Highly recommend!!!!

Lovely and peaceful stay

The house was very clean and had everything you could need for your stay. The hosts when above and beyond to make our stay great. Among the many things they provided, they had snacks ready for the kids and fresh warm brownies! Such a welcoming home with a wonderful front porch and outdoor area.

Large Older Home

A sweet little slice of Heaven! Very peaceful and serene. If you need a place to relax and reset, this is it!Vickie, our host took amazing care of us and answered any questions we had. Snacks along with breakfast fixings greeted us upon arrival not to mention the most amazing homemade pies! True hospitality at it's finest! None of us wanted to leave. Thank you for opening up your family home to us! We will be back!

Son's Wedding

Seven adult family members stayed in this lovely home for the weekend while we enjoyed various festivities at Mt Nebo State Park, location of the rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, two brunches, wedding, and reception. While it was a bit of a drive, the space and solitude was well worth it. Parking was ample, the home was immaculate, and we were able to enjoy both one another and the country-side.

Family vacation

The host was amazing. She thought of every tiny detail. She even brought us fresh brownies! Very hospitable and amazing property to get away from the rat race. Public pool within minutes and Many trails to hike. The people in these towns are so nice. My kids kept asking if we could move here.

Perfect Place to Unplug and Reconnect

Our family of seven adults had a great stay at this peaceful country home near the lake. The house isn’t fancy or modern, but it was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Each couple had their own space, and we never felt cramped. We loved being able to relax without worrying about bothering anyone—no noise, no stress, just quiet and privacy. The living and dining areas were perfect for games, and we enjoyed a bonfire with s’mores under the stars. The kitchen was well-stocked, and the thoughtful welcome items—bottled water, breakfast basics, sweet tea, and even a pecan pie—were a wonderful touch. We'd definitely recommend this spot for a relaxing getaway.

A lovely, secluded and expansive property!

We stayed at this property for two nights. We came from South Carolina to watch the Total Solar Eclipse. Our stay could not have been more perfect. From the homemade brownies, snacks, bottled water, and fully-stocked refrigerator to the quaint, clean and comfortable house to the gorgeous, huge and secluded setting, we were absolutely thrilled with our stay. Our hosts could not have been more accommodating or kind. We are going to figure out a reason to go back! We fell in love with this beautiful place. Perfection.

Family Haven

We stayed here as a family of four with my brother-in-law and his family of four. The kids ages ranged from 2-6. We also had our family dog with us. Everyone had an absolutely wonderful stay. The kids and dog loved running around the beautifully maintained property. Our rooms were well appointed and the house was stocked with everything we needed and then some! In fact, upon our arrival we were greeted with fresh baked goods, and other snacks and drinks for our enjoyment. It was so appreciated as kids are always ready for a snack and we hadn't made it grocery shopping yet. We have family in the area and definitely will book this home again for a future visit Thank you for everything!
