Built over 100 years ago, this lovingly restored home is among the oldest residences in the city. The home pre-dates Charlotte's recording of deeds and so the actual construction date is unknown. Lived in by mill workers during the heyday of Charlotte's cotton and textile boom, the home is proudly recognized as a historical structure by Charlotte and the state of North Carolina. Walk to nightlife and easy downtown access.



The Space:

The home is situated on a lovely and quiet residential street in the heart of Charlotte's lively Noda arts district. Perfectly located with easy access to center city, two blocks to the light rail, and just steps away from 50+ shops and restaurants. Uber or hop on the light rail and get to center city in 5 minutes, Bank of America Stadium in 7 minutes, South End in 10 minutes, and UNC Charlotte in 15 minutes. Easy access to freeways, a very safe and walkable neighborhood, and in the heart of Charlotte's best nightlife. This home has it all with an unbeatable location.



Historic wood floors and plank ceilings give the home it's historic character. While modern updates and top-of-the line bathroom designs bring into the modern era. A large kitchen that also serves as the home's dining area (no formal dining room), lots of family room seating, 3 large bedrooms, and 4 queen beds make this home spacious and relaxing for both large and small groups.

The Neighborhood:

You'll be staying in the heart of Charlotte's Noda neighborhood. NoDa is Charlotte’s historic arts and entertainment district. NoDa is home to all walks of life and an array of talented artists and musicians. Whether you are looking for Craft beer, award-winning food, custom gifts, or tattoos you’ll find what you need in NoDa.



Getting Around:

Excellently located close to uptown, a 2 blocks to the light rail, and just steps from countless shops and restaurants, getting around is super easy. Grab a Lyft or Uber in just a few minutes and get anywhere you need to be quickly and easily.

The house was very clean and comfortable. We had all the plates and utensils we needed. The house was warm and the bed was comfortable. I would suggest some instructions for the mini-split upstairs it took us a minute to figure out but everything worked well!

Living next door to an old mill village in the piedmont area, this mill house and its update made me realize what some of these houses can be. Our family loved the house, the back yard area and front porch along with the vibe of the neighborhood. And it came with a short walk to everything NODA has to offer. The house was clean, well kept with plenty of linens for a family of six adults and two toddlers. The host provided the best service with quick responses to all my questions. Will definitely keep this location for our next travel to the area.

Excellent place. Property owners are communicative and very helpful. Check in was a seamless process and the house was spotless when we arrived. It was perfect for a quiet bachelorette trip!The house easily slept all 6 of us and there was plenty of seating in the living area too! Wifi worked great, especially since a few of us from out of town had spotty cell reception. Beds and linens were comfortable and clean. PLENTY of towels - more than enough for all six of us to have several. Great location, easily walkable to N Davidson strip and plenty of restaurants. Easy drive to Optimist Hall. Overall one of the best VRBO stays I've had, absolutely recommend.

Excellent stay

Highly recommend this listing! The hosts were extremely communicative and made sure our stay was lovely. The house is adorable, super clean and well appointed. The location is also great. It’s just a few blocks to a few bars and coffee shops, which was great.

Great house, great lication!

Three friends stayed in this house for a weekend getaway. The house was very clean and very well-maintained. And the location was superb. - we could walk to a cute little coffee shop as well as several restaurants. Communication with the host was also very good. Would definitely stay here again!

The Mill house was perfect for our trip. We were two couples exploring Charlotte (one couple is considering a move there). The house was quaint and very clean. Check in was a breeze and NODA was a special treat. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others

Great Stay

Cozy clean place. I am fussy about cleanliness and I felt very comfortable here. Cute decor. . Loved the old wood floors and staircase. My teen age granddaughters enjoyed the upstairs room. We walked to get ice cream and checked out the shops in Noda. Be careful entering the driveway as there is a big dip. Friendly neighborhood people out walking with pets. Nice porch with wooden rocking chairs. Great communication with owner.

Charming home just blocks from NODA

The home is just as lovely as the pictures make it seem. The host was very clear with all instructions and the home was spotless. Plenty of room for our 4 guests. The location provided easy access to NODA with just a short 5-10 min walk. Highly recommended!

Great property! We'll plan to stay here again anytime we're in Charlotte! Easy access to food, coffee, and music venues. The hosts were easily accessible to answer questions and concerns. Lovely decor, plenty of space, and quiet neighborhood.
