Communication with host good. Air con good, only used the heat setting one night, shops a short drive away. Lovely quiet property. Only one negative, there was mold behind the sliding shower door, all else was excellent. Would recommend
Close to town beautiful house with everything we needed for a weekend away. The only down side was the tiled shower was mouldy and felt dirty to shower in.
Great spot and house layout made it perfect for us, two bedrooms had common spaces between so we’re able to share but also have own space. Nice deck to hang out on and great to have two AC units as we lucked in with really hot days and nights during our stay.
Bronte House was a lovely, clean and comfortable home to stay in for a few days away. Maybe something to take on board for future guests would be a peeler, tin opener and some bbq utensils. Overall would recommend to others.
The cottage is lovely, just a 10 min walk from the Square and has a private drive. A large deck great for alfresco eating and bbq if needed. Spotless, nice linen and towels as well as full cooking facilities. Heat pumps and circulation fans also in the property.

Bronte house is very cute and has been renovated from its original look. It is located well and the town square is within walking distance. Unfortunately, a few things let it down. If you plan to use the kitchen then you need to bring or buy all cooking ingredients as they only supply salt/pepper, coffee a few tea bags and satchets of sugar. It didnt have things I would expect such as a potato peeler, serving dishes, paper towels/glad wrap, face tissues, broom or vacuum cleaner. It also had some maintenance issues. The main light in the master bedroom had no working light bulbs, the bath to shower diverter was broken, there were huge cobwebs hanging from the bedroom ceiling and the outdoor furniture/ deck needed cleaning/sweeping before we could use it. We did ask for these things to be rectified and a very nice maintenance man came around (with a broom) replaced the light bulbs but did not have the part to fix the shower. We did enjoy our stay in Bronte house but for the amount charged I did expect not to have these issues.
