Had a great time at the Cabin. The water and mountain views from the deck are excellent. Nice fire pit area to chill outside. We brought our two dogs who thoroughly enjoyed themselves as well. Pete is an excellent host, he even offered us another day on the house. Unfortunately we had to leave but it was very nice of him to offer. Would most definitely stay here again.

The lake is really gross (you sink knee deep into mud, and has weeds in the water) so you will not be able to swim in it, which was a huge bummer for us. It was hard to even get out into the water to boat or paddleboard because of it. The cabin is nice, it has all the things you would need. The appliances are old and very tricky to operate. The view is gorgeous. The caretaker was extremely friendly and helpful. There is a rattlesnake reserve close to the property which really freaked me out (not a snake fan).

Amazing. Absolutely wonderful. Everything here was magnificent. From the property itself, to the landscape. Everything. I mean fishing the water without even leaving the house, awesome. The beds were very comfy believe me, I’ve had nightmare stays, but this was the exception. Living room was well appointment, so was the kitchen. Property is nice and secluded so if you’re looking for the intimate quiet this is it. Fishing was awesome, caught my first bowfin as promised by Peter. Made sure the tail fin was touching the ground to get an actual perspective of that fish size in the photo. Speaking of Peter, this guy is an exceptional host, respectful, understanding, patient, responsive and everything else in between. All around a fantastic property that warrants many more stays.

Location was secluded and in the middle of nature. Enjoyed taking rowboat onto the lake as well as natural fire pit. Accommodation was excellent. Owner super responsive and friendly.

We had a fantastic time at the very cozy and private lake side home in Clemons! The house was well stocked (in the kitchen), was very well insulated so it was nice and cool (the weekend was so warm) and the cross breeze on the deck was amazing! We spent a lot of time on the deck (despite the heat). The property was very private and there wasn’t any reception, but the WiFi worked extremely well, so we were able to stay connected! Also, the beds were very comfortable! We slept extremely well! Thanks so much for a lovely stay! This would be PHENOMENAL during leaf peeping season!

It was nice. We never were able to see Hughs Net come up so we could not connect to the Internet. Also, it’s not good enough that there was only 1 glass drinking cup. One? Yes there were plastic tumblers and 6 small red Solo cups, however, just one glass drinking cup was insufficient. Zero dish cloths. Two dish towels but no dish cloths to wash dishes, extremely used and dented pots- yuck. Finally, the windows were so dirty that the view was not as pleasant as it could have been. Finally, no working light in the shower, very dark, not pleasant. With all that pls do not charge us the small dog fee or any cleaning fees. Yikes! I’ll wait for your response. Thank youMichelle

Off the beaten path

Great time fishing and watching plenty of wildlife. Place was very clean, quiet. You won’t want to leave the back deck the scenery is always changing & we would love to go again in the fall.

The cozy cabin

Great location on the lake! Waterfall steps away and fishing off the deck. Nice modern A frame cabin with all the comforts of home.

Absolutely beautiful property

My husband and I absolutely loved it here! It has stunning views of the mountains and DIRECTLY on the water! We fished everyday and caught quite a bit of bass and pike! Super relaxing cabin and it had everything we needed. We will 100% be booking the gem again. Thank you to the hosts!

Wont stay again

The view was amazing. The road to the cabin a bit scary. The cabin was cute and fishing off the deck was nice but then it ends there. We found mouse droppings in 2 of the beds and a cabinet in the bathroom. The owner did come to bring a change of sheets and cleaned the drawer only after we tried to wash the sheets but found out that the washing machine didnt work properly. And just an FYI for anyone who is planning to stay here there is 1 queen bed, 1 full bed and 1 twin. The description is wrong. The Acs were moldy and dirty. The owner told us that his wife didnt change the bedding prior to our arrival and we were the first guests since the close in the winter. My family and I left a day early because we were feeling a bit upset. After leaving we requested a refund from the owner for just the cleaning fee because it was not cleaned. The owner responded upset in a text message saying that he drove 100 miles to come bring us new sheets however i feel this response is disrespectful and dismissive because we should have had clean sheets to begin with. He also reported that he didnt find any droppings and i explained to him it was because we already cleaned it. The dishes were sticky and dirty so we needed to prewash everything when this shouldve been done prior to our arrival. When booking a home I expect a certain cleanliness and dont think this is too much to ask for a small refund.

Quaint and Remote Get Away

My fiance and I loved staying here to celebrate his birthday. It is in a very remote location and set back, so there was a ton of privacy. It is right on the water which was nice, and relatively close to Queensbury Country Club Golf Course (which was absolutely stunning). I will say that there is not much to do near by so plan accordingly. The only restaurant that was open when we stayed there was an Indian Restaurant called the Red Panda. We HIGHLY recommend trying this if you are craving Indian food. Overall we had an amazing time and will definitely consider coming back.

Perfect Fishing Cabin with Amazing Views

Every part of our stay was perfect! When we arrived, the cabin was perfectly clean. It was great to wake up every morning and fish off the dock. It is very peaceful and secluded. We also enjoyed a day trip to Lake George for some fun, touristy activities. Cannot wait to make a return trip. Thanks, Nash Family!
