The rooms and the home in general were very clean. The kitchen was immaculate with plenty of amenities. The views were spectacular. The beach area was very nice. Plenty of seating and umbrellas and the area is very clean. My family had an incredible time and there was plenty of space for everybody.!

The house is beautiful, stunning beach views and everything you need for a first rate vacation. We were in town for a family reunion and the ample sitting space on the porch/deck and around the kitchen island allowed for everyone to enjoy each others company.

Perfect Barbie Dreamhome!

From the moment we arrived, we knew we had found something special. The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as pictured — actually, even better in person. The location is unbeatable: just steps from the sand, with breathtaking ocean views from the deck.Every detail was thought of — from the fully stocked kitchen (we even found a blender for our morning smoothies) to the soft, hotel-quality linens. We loved waking up to the sound of waves and ending the evenings watching sunsets from the balcony.The neighborhood was quiet and safe, but close enough to restaurants, shops, and activities. Our host was responsive, friendly, and provided a fantastic local guidebook with recommendations for everything from fresh seafood spots to hidden beaches.We made wonderful memories here and are already planning our return. If you’re looking for a relaxing, worry-free beach escape, this is the place!

Property was excellent. Listing a bit miss leading. I would not say it is beachfront. There is a road that runs in between the house and beach. There are also about 90 steps to get from the house down to the beach. Otherwise the house was awesome! It was stock with everything you could need. The view was perfect.

Excellent family vacation

We spent three nights at this property and had a terrific time with our family, who all stayed in the house, and visits from several friends during the weekend as well. The house and deck space is beautiful and accommodates 25+ people with comfortable seating for a casual picnic and spectacular views. The kitchen was well stocked. We were allowed to check in a few hours early which we greatly appreciated. We did have a plumbing issue and had to reach out to multiple contacts before connecting with anyone but it was a holiday weekend so that may be why. They did refund us a token amount for being without the third shower during half our stay. The shared driveway is steep and the beach road does not really accommodate parking, so beware and plan ahead if you are bringing a trailer or will have need to park multiple cars. Overall a great stay and a beautiful property--couldn't have been more perfect for our needs.

Amazing Lake Michigan view

This lake house was perfect for our "Girls Trip" of 12 women. So many gathering areas inside and out, where we could all be in the same vicinity to truly be together. We grilled, watched the most gorgeous sunset followed by the Super Blue Moon our 1st night. Enjoyed a trip to Mac Dune rides, shopped, rented a tri-toon on Pentwater Lake, but mostly hung at the house. Some kayaked, as the rest relaxed in the Beach Adirondack chairs under the umbrella, sipping beverages. The home had everything we needed and is well furnished. It was a great 3 day get-away to reconnect.

Horrible experience

When we arrived the garage was full of the last guests garbage, leaving the house with hundreds and hundreds of fruit flies. We spent the entire trip fighting a fruit fly infestation. The garbage bins were nowhere in sight for our use. There was 1 roll of paper towels and 3 garbage bags supplied for our three day stay with 11 family members and it was not mentioned in the listing that we needed to provide our own. We were uncomfortable with bugs the entire time and did not relax like we would have liked to, traveling with young children. Worst rental experience we’ve ever had, especially for how much it cost.

Reunion at Pentwater Beach House on Lake Michigan

16 family members gathered for a reunion at this beautiful beach house on Lake Michigan. The house was bright and clean with stunning views of the private beach on Lake Michigan. We went kayaking, played games, had fires and shared memories while watching gorgeous sunsets. The house was well supplied inside and out and we only wish we had a few more days to stay.

The house had a great view from the deck and the chairs and umbrellas were perfect for sitting at the water front. Plenty of room for all of us. Just a few things were missing. No propane for the grill and nothing to light the grill . No Blender and the can opener broken. Our family enjoyed the week .

Beautiful View

Communcation beforehand was fantastic. Beautiful location. Beautiful, well kept house. So close to the dunes. Beautiful beach, wonderful area. 5 stars. However, due to no service in the area, things got a little frustrating when we arrived. The driveway is very steep and shared with permanent residents. We werent able to fit our trailer by a long shot, even though I had reached out to make sure it would. We were making the trip to specifically spend some time riding the sand dunes. Couldnt reach out to home contact to solve the problem (no service). With the help of some locals, we found a place to park our trailer. The first few hours were frustrating. The rest of the trip was fantastic. Expect no service as you get closer to the house. GPS went nuts. 4 stars! Would stay again! able to fit our trailer in the driveway

Family Weekend

Overall great stay! Beautiful Beach, Deck and House! The home was very clean and inviting upon arrival! A few minor things, the air conditioning and WiFi do not work the best. (Maybe because the house is so large). Great outdoor furniture but the furniture with cushions were old and dirty. There was a very bad smell in the laundry room. For the amount of guests the house holds not enough toilet paper, paper towel and garbage bags. Our overall trip was super fun!!! Great communication with the owner and manager!

Amazing family vacation!

The home was beautiful and very well stocked with everything we needed. We really appreciated all the beach items! The steep driveway was a little tricky to navigate with our 12 passenger transit van, especially if a car tried to come up the driveway while we were coming down. (The cleaning ladies got stuck and had to call a tow truck.) My only issues with the home were the bedroom doors were tricky to keep closed. The latches were very finicky. Also the beautiful bathtub was not useable due to the plug not working correctly. That was a bit of a bummer. We also had a unique experience with the 6-8 flying squirrels that live in the tallest point of the roof. While sitting on the deck every night the squirrels would swoop down near us and fly between the trees. Scared us at first, but then they were quite entertaining!

Beautiful, powdery sand beach

The house is beautifully decorated and comfortable. We had some stressful moments (local contact information was wrong and it took some time to get it updated) and on arrival there was a plethora of flies (inside and out), most likely due to rain, that really gave us all pause. The propane tanks were also both empty which added to the irritation since we had planned to get settled and grill our dinner. After a call to the contact and a run to the local gas station for a tank exchange (which we were reimbursed for) we were finally able to relax a bit. The beach itself is wonderful and quiet! It was super windy so we were unable to take advantage of the fire pit but I'm sure it provides many memorable times for those who can use it. Our family ended up having a good time despite the rocky start. There are a few things that surprised us given that we were renting so early in the season (door hinge issue and a trash drawer that self-opened) but all in all it was a positive experience. I think some of the issues we experienced were due to the property having just switched to a new cleaning crew so more learning curve than deliberate. For awareness: MANY of the local restaurants are closed on Monday and Tuesday even during the summer.

Fantastic Beach Vacation

This rental property was everything we wanted. The house was beautiful, plenty of sleeping options, kitchen was stocked for cooking and the garage was loaded with beach toys. The fire pit down at the beach was a perfect end to each night as well. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to stay on Lake Michigan. The views are hard to beat!
