Front row sunset seats, and a serene atmosphere welcome you to this beautiful peninsula retreat on Wasi Lake. This welcoming, peaceful escape is home to plenty of playful birds, the wild call of the loon pair or the duck family swimming by to say hello. Enjoy all this from the wrap around deck, the dock, viewing platform or inside through the full west wall window display! Early risers will savor morning coffee/tea from the dock. Nighttime features starry nights and all day enjoy the quiet peaceful atmosphere. Relaxing windchimes are a soothing background with the gentle breezes off the Lake. Autumn brings brilliant fall colors and hiking trails in the area to explore. Winter hosts ice fishing right out front or snowshoeing/cross country skiing on the Lake or nearby trails.
The Lake is your swimming playground with canoe or paddleboard to enjoy, or if you prefer fishing, there's plenty of pickerel, pike or bass. Abundant flowers and trees provide a pleasant respite for your relaxation and a hammock awaits your naptime. Enjoy an afternoon game of horseshoes and there is a lovely beach/playground/picnic shelter in walking/biking distance. Yes, bring your bikes for country lane biking and there are trails across the lake for hiking.

This retreat features a Master Bedroom with queen bed, Sunset Bedroom with double size futon.
The kitchen amenities include fridge, stove, microwave, cutlery, basic utensils, (corkscrew included!) kettle, Keurig w/ refillable pod, 2 slice toaster, waffle maker, pots & pans, dishes.
There is a Smart TV and a DVD player with DVDs.

The surrounding countryside is host to a thriving farming community with plenty of roadside stands for fresh eggs, vegetables, organic meat, many of which are also available at the Powassan Farmers Market.
Clear Springs Golf Course with 18 holes is within a 5 minute drive.
Powassan has basic grocery, LCBO and other amenities and is a 15 minute drive.
North Bay with full amenities is a 25 minute drive.
There are plenty of hiking trails in the area as well.
