Four friends looking for a place to stay near Kinkaid lake for a little fishing trip, and the place was perfect and the boat launch for Kinkaid lake is only 2 minutes away. The place had everything we wanted and needed. Very spacious and clean and the owner was very welcoming. We know exactly where we will be staying the next time we visit Kinkaid lake.

Nice, quiet location!

We came for the bike race in Alto Pass and wanted a place instead of a hotel. I’m glad we found this area! It was close to a lot of places including Carbondale. Host left us goodies which our kids loved! Lots of linens and even had little soaps. Very thoughtful and great stay!!

Clean and cozy, great amenities!

The property is very clean, and included many nice touches (welcome snacks, coffee, water, toiletries.) The location is quiet and peaceful— the deck is a great place for morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening. The kids enjoyed having outdoor space to play and explore. We even saw a raccoon and a bald eagle during our stay! It’s also convenient to Murphysboro and Carbondale. The owner was very friendly and responsive. Would definitely stay again when in the area.
