Lakeside, cozy cottage suite, perfect for couple!

Directly overlooking Stoney Lake, this cozy one-bedroom lakeside suite features a cozy living room with lovely brook stone, wood burning fireplace, , hardwood floors, area carpet, modern furnishings, and extends to a small, open-concept kitchen area. There is an Apple TV, refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, toaster in the suite. Also dishes, glassware, pots, pans, utensils, dishcloths & towels, dish soap provided. There is access to a propane BBQ.
Sliding glass doors from the living room lead to a lovely screened in balcony/deck with beautiful lake view, patio furniture, table and chairs.
The master bedroom has attractive custom pine furnishings and a king bed. A four-piece bath with deep soaking tub and walk-in shower, is beside the bedroom .

This private suite is part of a large timber frame cottage, which includes three larger suites - and they are available to rent all together - The Irwin Inn Cottage is the perfect destination for large and/or extended families and groups. Lakeside Serenity

I wanted to surprise my husband with a cozy weekend getaway for his birthday, and could not be happier with my choice with this suite! The decor is perfect, the kitchen had everything we needed and curling up in front of the wood burning fireplace gave us the romantic fall vibes we were looking for. All with a stunning view of Stoney Lake that you can enjoy from the screened in porch. The little touches the Patti and Dennis added made it extra special. This place is good for the soul.

Knowing Louise was choosing a place to surprise her husband, and quietly celebrate his birthday, I hoped she would be happy with her choice! I was indeed a pleasure to welcome Louise and her husband, after being so easy to communicate with along the way. Wonderful guests, they exceeded expectations re all house rules, leaving the suite in perfect condition... even placed wood neatly by the fireplace! Stoney Lake is mesmerizing in any season, and seems to have a relaxing and resilient effect on those gazing out over the lake. My husband Dennis, and I would welcome this lovely couple any time in the future, and we are thrilled they found it "good for the soul".

This amazing lakeside property has a beautiful family legacy! The Irwin Inn, on Stoney Lake was originally built for guests to enjoy in 1947 by Ross and Norma Irwin. In 1976, Dennis and Patti Irwin became involved and developed the property as a year round resort. In 2017, the Irwin Inn closed as a resort, and our multi-suite, 7500 sq. ft. timber-frame cottage retreat has been operated by Patti and Dennis Irwin ever since! We will ensure you experiences a lovely stay!
