Potts Point is known for great food and even better vibes. Many good bars around, all within walking distance.

Definitely check out the Royal Botanical Gardens when you’re here too. Both amazing water views - the best in Sydney. Great for picnics too.

Potts Point is known in Sydney for its restaurants and bars, and this is literally on our doorstep. Sydney CBD is also just a 15-minute walk.

Bus stations and the Kings Cross train station are a 3-4 minute walk away.

Ubers are plentiful too if you feel a tad lazy. It’s about $12 to get just about anywhere in the city.

Parking

There is all day FREE street parking on weekends on my street.

On weekdays it’s just 2 hours free parking so I’d recommend paid parking close by. There are a few options near my area but my recommendation would be:
203 Victoria Street, Potts Point.
NOTE: Recommended you book ahead for this option however. The cost for that carpark is from $17/day but you do get unlimited re-entries.

If you are considering a longer term stay (above 21 days), please enquire as I may have other complimentary exclusive parking options available.

Good location

Property was in a great location, property manager was responsive and helpful. Cleaners did a good job, however some deep cleaning is required for the property and some maintenance.

A lot of things are a bit disappointing.

Beautiful pictures, but actually there are many problems ,We are a family with 6 adults and 3 children 1.There are many cockroaches in the kitchen. 2.The building is old and the door cannot be closed 3.The device list has a dishwasher but cannot be used 4.Contains outdoor bbq equipment, but cannot be used without cleaning 5.Wireless networks are slow, sometimes even disconnected at night Clean is not good enough. Everything must be asked The homeowners responded very quickly, &nice.

Potts Point

This four bedroom house has a tradition character to the property. It is ideally located for movement around Sydney. On street parking available from 18:00 to 10:00. We stayed four nights. It rained on our first night. When we awoke in the morning the kitchen had flooded because the backyard gutter was blocked. The management company fixed the gutter problem the same day (would have been nice if the mess on the kitchen floor was also cleaned). Apart from this the property was clean but security a problem as doors leading to the balcony did not lock - management company to fix after we left. The sound bar in lounge area has a life of its own and started playing music at 02:00 - coupled with the balcony door insecurity spread to my children.

Ringing in the New Year in Potts Point

My family of 4 (2 adults and 2 adult children) stayed in this home for 8 nights including New Year’s Eve. When we checked in, the home was clean, bright and well air conditioned. There are four bedrooms with three on the second floor and 1 on the third floor. Kitchen had all the basics so we could sleep late and make our own breakfast. The downstairs bathroom had a small washer/dryer that was very convenient. Finally, we were also delighted to watch the New Years fireworks (over the harbor and bridge) from the property’s second story balcony. Some small drawbacks to this property. There is some noise from some bars up the street, especially during the New Years holidays. The house has two winding staircases that may prove difficult for young children or elderly renters. I found the top floor to be dusty which as an asthmatic I found to be a bit of a challenge. I recommend air filters be available for guests.
