Very disappointing, avoid
One star is being generous.Unfortunately I have to rate. I went to check in to the property at 4pm Friday… (1hr after check in) I arrived to a dirty property. Phoned the host/owner Richard who was completely unaware he had a booking.He called in a “cleaner” and he would let me know when it was ready. This cleaner did not clean correctly; dirty dishes were in the cupboards, soiled sheets, no soap in the bathroom and there was no bath as advertised.The cleaner returned and admitted he hadn’t cleaned the sheets, we then waited at 7:30pm for him to put clean sheets and linen on. Richard didn’t care, he is busy with other businesses was his response but agreed it wasn’t acceptable. We went to use the wifi code which also didn’t work. Again messaged the owner host RICHARD. Again host didn’t care, reply was “it should” Only 2 small plates in the property. So it was the first time Ive eaten toast out of a bowl. Spoke to Richard again after our stay to try and not make another bad review on this sub par property. But he didn’t care as he was too busy with his Snow monkey ski hire business.The property was not clean and the host has been very difficult to deal with. Omeo is a beautiful place but I do not recommend staying here
