Beautiful Family Home Central to Mad River Valley

This outstanding home has an open floor plan and is located in a wonderfully central Mad River Valley location, as its close to town, local hiking and biking trails, the Mad River Path and Hartshorn's Organic Farm, where you can purchase seasonal produce and pick strawberries and blueberries when they are in season. It is also located just a short drive to Mad River Glen and Sugarbush ski resorts.

Please message through the booking medium or email before calling or texting for fastest response. Available during normal hours M-F 9-5 and for emergencies during reasonable non sleeping hours.

Riverview Road is a quiet neighborhood full of single family homes.

Access to the entire home and property. Four wheel drive and snow tires are required for safe travel in winter months in this region of Vermont.

This is a 5 bedroom and 2 bathroom sunny open floor plan home. You will have access to the entire property, with the exception of a few locked storage closets and the interior of the barn.

A personal vehicle is required in the Mad River Valley. There is very little reliable public transportation.

We were there for a family wedding in Waitsfield. The house had everything we needed: lots of space, great well equipped kitchen, plenty of towels tp etc., games for the kids. Clean and well kept. Definitely one of the best places I've rented among the 30 or so VRBOs where we've stayed (we travel a lot).

Lovely winter/ski house

Terrific stay. Very comfortable and well maintained house. Kitchen was amply stocked which made cooking for the group very doable. Mudroom was perfect for entry/exit for skiing (would just suggest a bench down there). Has ski racks, boot driers. Beds and sheets very comfortable. Super easy drive to either sugarbush mountain. Thank you!!

Perfect Family Ski House

One of our best stays ever, and we do this a decent amount! The property is gorgeous! Yard for running and snow ball fights, dog zoomies and sunrise watching. Perfectly appointed kitchen so well organized made cooking for 8 twice a day a dream. Every small and thoughtful touch in the bathrooms (floss picks!!!). Truly 15 minutes to sugar bush and 5 minutes to the quaint town of Waitsfield. Simple and elegant in all the best ways.

Fall weekend stay

We had a great time at the Mad River Valley house. The location was perfect for our scheduled ride at the Icelandic Horse Farm and we had a wonderful dinner around the corner at the 1824 House. We found lots of places in the area to hike with the dogs and the shopping in Waitsfield was also a pleasure. Overall it was a perfect long weekend.

Wonderful property

We love this house. This was our second time staying here this fall. It is very comfy. We loved sitting on the deck and around the fire pit at night. The stars were amazing to look at. The beds are very cozy. The kitchen is well stocked with all you need. Definitely one of the best properties we have stayed at in the area.

Comfy getaway

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. The house was comfy and spacious. The beds were super comfy. It was super clean. Communication was great with host. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend it if you are looking for a place to stay in the Mad River area.
