We had a confortable, relaxing and enjoyable stay in the cottage. It was quiet and very unintrusive. The owners are great with communication and we didn't need to even request any assistance. All went very well.

Had a wonderful midweek stay in the upper cottage. Very clean and comfortable, with many extra touches to welcome guests, especially loved the treat tray filled with a collection of goodies. Lots of towels for hot tubbing. Hope to return in the spring and take advantage of all the water toys! Thank you our hosts. Could not have asked for more.

Stayed for 3 nights at the Upper Cottage. To be frank - we didn't want to leave! Everything is as described. Very well appointed and extremely comfortable - a home away from home. Beautiful location and views. Very peaceful and relaxing. Enjoyed using the Kayaks on the lake. So quiet. Would certainly recommend for a couples' escape.

Best cabin I have veen to in years.

It was perfect and comfortable in every way. The greating card and gift basket was a wonderful toch and the pictures just dont do it justice. 10/ 10.

Serene and Perfect Retreat

Hosts have thought of every single little detail and this property shows so much care and thoughtfulness. It's immaculate, comfortable, quiet and has everything one could possibly ask for in a vacation rental. 100% would come back. It's one of the nicest places weve ever stayed.

Lovely and restfulstop on our route

We were touring Vancouver Island and this quaint little cottage provided a perfect respite on our journey. We enjoyed the beautiful furnishings, comfy beds and a spacious deck. In the mornjng the waffle fixings provided by the host were a treat. We would recommend to other travelers.

Beautiful weekend getaway

My husband and I had a wonderful time at this cottage. We brought our small fishing boat and had no issue getting it in the water using the boat ramp; it was wonderful to be able to launch from the dock at sunrise. Caught cut-throat trout in the lake and even some crayfish in our trap near the dock :) The cottage was wonderful and everything was so well thought out. It rained on and off all weekend yet we had a great time enjoying the deck as there is a couch and fire table sheltered by an awning, the BBQ is sheltered and hot tub sheltered as well. There are many indoor and outdoor games to enjoy, and the cottage is just a cozy and comfortable spot to spend time. Would recommend to anyone, you will love it here!

Perfect Lake Cottage

This was the perfect spot for a quiet getaway. This rustic cabin was private, well stocked with everything you would need and clean. We loved our stay and the hosts were fantastic. Great deck overlooking the lake and a wonderful hot tub as well. Highly recommended.

Fantastic property

Lovely, quiet little cabin overlooking the lake. The place was spotless upon check in and the host’s had even left complimentary snacks/beverages out. They left comprehensive, easy to understand, instructions for everything and were quick to answer if needed.

Adorable cabin with breath taking view

What a lovely cottage on a gorgeous lake. Lisa was great to communicate with from booking, directions, check in and all the little details that go with it all. She made sure the cottage was clean, cozy and very stocked with everything you could think you'd need. There were a few extra lovely surprises too. The lake is gorgeous, the hot tub clean, fire pit relaxing. We even had a herd of elk visit us one evening. Overall it was a fantastic stay and we will be back!

Relaxing Getaway

Beautiful spot overlooking the lake. Nice perks with snacks, hot drinks, & tea, & a few nice beaches to walk to close by.The hot tub was nice to warm up in. Relaxing atmosphere.

Historical lakeside getaway.

Such a beautiful historical cottage that envelopes you with serenity as you walk through the door. Everything that you can think of has been provided, cozy comfort just oozes character. I loved being able to swim from the beach then soak in the hot tub.

Charming Cottage With Railway History

We loved our stay at this very charming cottage. The hosts thought of everything, from waffle mix, reading material, generous amount of snacks, and games. The cottage was beautifully decorated, very clean and the hosts were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

Birthday celebration for my wife

Our time there was awesome! The Hosts were very attentive and helpful. The property is full of history and care for detail that makes the stay significant and rich. It was a peaceful stay that helped us reconnect with nature as a family.

Youbou is a very small Community on the pristine Cowichan Lake with 10minutes to local amenities , our Lakefront property is located on the North arm of Cowichan Lake which makes it very tranquil, with fabulous mountain views.

No hustle and bustle here just pure tranquility on a Lakefront beach and Wharf or maybe you enjoy just lying in the "ohh so warm" Hot tub all nestled in the tall trees created by our beautiful nature
