This single-level home is located in beautiful Beverly Beach and sits on a cliff overlooking the Pacific Ocean with a 180-degree view. It’s the perfect spot for a romantic weekend or getaway for a small family, and the fenced yard means it’s a nice place to bring your dog, too! With classic knotty pine, sweet maritime nautical decor, two TVs, and a pellet stove for cozy evenings, Beverly Beach Whale Lookout has plenty of retro appeal. The ocean-view deck has a private hot tub, so you can listen to the ocean roar, watch the stars twinkle, and enjoy the glimmer of the beam of the lighthouse by night. By day, you can spot whale spouts as they pass by on the horizon and watch wheeling seabirds and incoming weather. You’ll love the quiet neighborhood and easy access to all the area has to offer.

You can walk or take a quick 2-minute drive down to the beach access or drive to Beverly Beach State Park for miles of beach walking. The Yaquina Head Outstanding Natural Area (and the lighthouse), as well as Devil's Punch Bowl, are minutes away by car. If you’d like to see those passing whales close up, Depoe Bay is also just over Cape Foulweather to the north. Newport’s Historic Bayfront is about ten minutes south by car, and you’ll find fresh-caught fish, terrific dining, and lots of tourist shops at your fingertips. The Oregon Coast Aquarium and Rogue Brewery are across Yaquina Bay via the remarkable Yaquina Bay bridge. Beverly Beach Whale Lookout puts you close to so much of the Central Coast—all in a snug, nostalgic package!

Wonderful stay! The home was cozy, spotless, and very well stocked with everything we needed. The ocean views were amazing, and the hot tub was perfect morning and night. We appreciated the pellet stove, natural toiletries, and thoughtful details throughout. Great location close to restaurants and activities—we loved the Aquarium, Bayfront, and golfing at Agate Beach. Highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again!

Amazing views! Hot tub was great and very clean. Older home, so it was a little drafty but manageable. Some minor cleaning missed(dusty windows and blinds) but overall a great stay. The location and views made the trip!

Spring break getaway!

I am a single mom and I brought my kids from Idaho to the Oregon coast! We also had our dog. This place was perfect location to visit Newport and Lincoln city! It was very clean and had everything we needed for cooking and laundry. The views were breathtaking and the hot tub was so relaxing!

Very cozy home with a beautiful view. Only a 5 minute walk to a dog friendly beach . Downtown Newport only 15 min away with plenty of places to eat lots of beautiful sites close by .we loved it

Beautiful view

The view of the ocean from the back deck is stunning, and it was relaxing and wonderful to watch the sea sunsets from the hot tub. Management was very responsive to questions. We had a lovely stay.

Perfect cottage above the ocean!

Went to Newport with my two youngest girls for my youngest’s16th birthday. This cottage was the perfect size for the three of us. Everything about it was charming. It was the perfect place to bring my daughter’s little husky. Excellent and secure little yard. The girls enjoyed the hot tub, even in the rain. The pellet stove made it extra cozy. We loved it and would definitely choose this cottage again. :-)

We were very impressed with our stay here. The location to Beverly Beach was a huge bonus to take the dog for a walk. The check in process was so simple. House was clean and perfect for us. This was an amazing last minute get away! Fenced yard was great for the fur babies. Hot tub was perfect temp. View was unforgetable. Kitchen fully stocked, we made most meals at the house. This was such a cute, small, cozy spot. Only downfall was we did pick up lots of poop in the yard when we first got there but not a huge deal, glad to do my parttherethere.wsmall and cozy house

I unfortunately had a bad experience because the house needed a deep cleaning it was bad enough I only stayed one night out of the 3 nights I booked I contacted the property manager and told her it needed a deep clean and she told me she could send someone to do a surface cleaning I sent her pictures of the uncleanliness and she said it was just ware and tear I again told her it needs a deep cleaning and that I could not stay there another night she informed me that if I left she would not refund the rest of the nights. I feel that o should get the a refund on the nights I was unable to stay due to the uncleanliness of the house. I liked the location and the ocean view also the fenced in yard, I feel like the outside of the house and the yard were cleaner than the inside for sure. I took pictures and subunited them to her and to Vrbo they are communicating with the property manager and have not got back to me yet.

I wish I could rate this higher, but little things added up into big things over the stay, and it was more upsetting than enjoyable. I'll share a couple of positives about the place. View is nice, you can definitely see and somewhat hear the ocean. Nice sunsets, the deck was nice and the small yard was a little win for our service animal. It's a small spot, but could support 4 people.We came here on our anniversary really hoping to have a relaxing and connective time. Several things got in the way of this. Our first night, I had to change out the sheets as they were rough on the skin. It was clear they were older and many pairs of feet had roughed them up. It was hard to find a sheet set that wasn't ratty. When I replaced the sheets, the bed protector was also stained and older. I got the bed back together, but we soon found out the mattress was incredibly firm. I looked at the topper, and it was the thinnest piece of plain foam I'd ever seen on a bed in a rental or hotel room. It was old enough it was breaking apart.It's now 1130. Neither of us could rest, so we pulled out the couch bed hoping for softer. Unfortunately the sleeper bed would not keep your body off of the supports. We slept sitting our first night and had to buy our own topper the next night after waiting hours for a response. 60 bucks. Hot tub was gritty. The chlorine level was burning our eyes and skin. Scum bubbles, bits of white mould floating after using jets, needs water and filter change.

We're sorry your anniversary was disrupted and that multiple issues took away from your stay. Thank you for mentioning the positives — the view, deck and yard — and for the detailed notes about bedding, the sleeper sofa and the hot tub. Housekeeping will inspect the sheets and mattress protector for replacement and we'll speak to the homeowner about putting in a new mattress topper. The hot tub did get a full service just before you arrived, I have photos from the hot tubs team to confirm they had it correctly balanced. But we'll keep an especially close eye on it to make sure it continues to function correctly. Thank you for the feedback — we’ll use it to improve the property for future guests.

Property was as described, it had everything we needed including some items for cooking (oil, spices, foil, and Tupperware). Unfortunately the pump on the hot tub died our second night. The hist had someone out the next day to check it out and refunded the hot tub fee. We would stay here again.
