Fully renovated 1954 Cottage with styling inspired by the Mid Century Modern Vibe.
Located on the Wavell Heights / Virginia Border in Wade Street.
This two bedroom plus separate study cottage has been lovingly restored with a nod to its history, whilst adding a flair of Mid Century Modern.

The Living room has a comfy leather lounge suite with beautiful Tasmanian oak furniture.
The front corner windows lets in plenty of natural light, whilst the sheer curtains allow for privacy.
127cm Smart TV and FREE Wifi.
The home has reverse cycle Air Conditioning in the lounge room and Queen bedroom only and ceiling fans throughout.

Brand new Kitchen (Aug 2023) with coffee bar and walk in mini Butlers pantry.
Gas cooktop and Gas Oven. Microwave, Fridge and Dishwasher.
Coffee bar with Pod machine (Nespresso pods etc).

Brand new bathroom (Aug 2023) with gorgeous Italian terrazzo tiles and walk in shower, Waverly fluted vanity and Vanity Mirror with storage.
Fully Separate Toilet.

Main Bedroom has a comfy Queen Bed, Rattan wardrobe, air conditioning and remote ceiling fan.
Bedroom Two has a Double bed and remote ceiling fan only.

Study has a desk, leather chair and lamp with Telstra NBN / Wi fi throughout the house.
Quite little reading corner in the study with leather Swivel chair and Ottoman.

The sunroom is an absolute delight to enjoy your morning coffee or early evening wine as you watch the gorgeous sunsets.

Check in is 2pm.
Check Out is 11am.
If you are flying in: We will do our best to accommodate early Check in / Late Check out subject to bookings at the time.
The basic Registration form we ask all guest to complete has a section to fill in this information.

Pls note: Currently a home is being built on our right hand side boundary, which is shrouded with high trees.

EV Charging: At this time, the Cottage is unable to support EV Charging, attempts to plug into a 10amp powerpoint will the trip the circuit.

Had a great stay, lovely home close to shops, restaurants and coffee bars. Host communication was excellent. Complimentary bread, fruit and a very well stocked pantry and fridge! Construction noise not too bad though did start quite early on weekdays. Overall a beautiful place to stay.

Excellent Cottage

The hosts were wonderful, good at communicating, and made the cottage very welcoming. It's in a great location with a nice neighbour. It was a very comfortable stay, and I highly recommend it.

Simone was such a nice host. We felt warmly welcomed with so many little gestures (fruits, cake, bread, milk,

Visiting family

It was a fabulous stay. We were made to feel so welcome. Great correspondence with the owners. We found it very convenient to shops and relatives just lived 10 mins away which was an extra bonus. We would definitely ask to re book when we get a chance to visit Brisbane again

We stayed for 4 nights at Simone's vrbo. An adorable place and Simone could nit be any more helpful. She left us an Apple tea cake, milk and the most delicious bread. The house had everything we could have needed. Simone also provided information about the neighborhood abouthouse,neighborhood

Great house with everything that you might need

Getting into the house was very straightforward. We cooked at home most nights and the kitchen had everything that we needed. The house is in a very pleasant and quiet residential area with excellent transport links back into the city.
