Lovely quiet get away

Felt like we were in the islands sitting on the balcony on a warm summer night looking out over the palms and the ocean. Really nice little getaway with lots of toys for the kids and a short walk to the beach.

Great location with small town community

Loved to location of this property and the community in general. Small town vibe and quick access to the beach.The house had all we needed but was not as clean as expected (but I am a clean freak).

Stay in Auckland.

It is an old but cute house. Host was very generous, allowed to us to use anything in their house we needed, Including anything from their pantry, their kayak, bicycle etc.Beach was on walking distance but for viewing only.

Wonderful Waiwera

We had a delightful week in Waiwera. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and there was a great indoor dining table and a table on an outdoor deck. The owners were extremely helpful. Waiwera is a lovely place and the house is a quiet little corner away from the hustle and bustle of Auckland and Orewa. Close to Wenderholm Regional Park and a pretty beach. Lovely to make use of a bicycle, kayaks and a jigsaw puzzle as well.
