The perfect place

I was there for the Land of Oz for a girls trip. The place was absolutely perfect! It was a cute layout, loved the decor and it was clean! It was so convenient to everything especially the Land of Oz! Loved that it was nestled in the mountains! Would definitely recommend and would stay there again!

Beautiful place

Our stay here at this location was absolutely amazing… The house was perfect, and super clean. A huge plus was we woke up every morning to see the most beautiful baby deer right beside the porch who hung out all day until Mom came and picked it up in the afternoon. The wildlife we saw while we were there was absolutely breathtaking. We will definitely be back.

What a great getaway!

A beautiful home, super convenient to so much that Beech Mountain offers. We were there for the summer concert series and my family and our friends loved the amenities, appointments of the home, and Kellie was incredibly responsive. We can’t wait to return.

Better than expected

This property was better than expected! Lots of room, plenty of updates throughout and it’s the only time my kids have left saying “I don’t want to leave, I love this house!” *disclaimer- take the spiral staircase in to account. My kids loved it but adults need to take it slow to the second floor

Wonderful Stay

We had the best time at this home! It was impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed. We went during the summer and found there was so much to do! We'll definitely be back again in the winter. My family loved the hot tub and wonderful upstairs porch and fire pit. Truly an awesome place in a great location.

Amazing rental!

Stayed here with my family of 4 and a friends family. Everything was perfect! The house was clean and updated, loved the minimalist decorations as we have kids and less to move (if you know you know) Hot tub was a huge hit and loved having it on the lower level where we could see the kids in it Location was perfect for quick access to the resort. Will def be back!!!

Great House & Location

We were within walking distance to the Beech Mountain resort, but we drove due to traffic and safety. We got super lucky in that we got 6" of snow, but were able to get in and out of the driveway and around the mountain. We really liked the house, and all of the rooms. The only negative was that we were never able to get the hot tub hot enough. We would definitely stay here again. Nicely decorated also.

Wonderful home!

I'm typically very picky about vacation rentals, and this home exceeded our expectations! Meticulously clean, great decor, comfortable beds, well-maintained hot tub, great fire pit and seating on the top deck for relaxing...everything was lovely. We went in June and had a wonderful time hiking Grandfather Mountain and taking a break from the SC summer heat. We had zero issues or hiccups the entire stay. Just perfect! Thank you!

Great Stay

Great experience and clean house. Had a little trouble at check in not having the code in the VROB app. There was a welcome packeted texted to us but we were not able to open it. The owner/rental company communicated quickly and it was only a 2 minute problem with a quick fix. Location is great. We had nice dishes and everything we needed to cook with.

When can I go back??!!!

When you travel as much as I do, you learn to appreciate those hosts who pay attention to the details. First, location. Wow. I could see the ski slope from the hot tub. Let that statement sink in. You can sit in a hot tub in view of the ski slope. We were a couple minutes from slopes, multiple ski rental locations, multiple restaurants and the beautiful mountain town of Banner Elk. There are also some really good trails for hiking, trail running and biking within 15 minutes away. Second, the hosts. Never in my life have I been provided with so much helpful information prior to my visit. These hosts went above and beyond. The cabin had everything we needed, everything we wanted and even things we would never think to ask for! For example: When you step out of the amazing hot tub (i like hot tubs), you can take your fresh towel out of the towel warmer. Did you know that towel warmers are a thing? That's what I'm saying. Above and beyond!Third, the cabin. I could have listed some of this under the hosts, because I could tell that this place had been given a very thoughtful makeover. The design is clever and calming. I am a firm believer that some spaces are sacred, meaning there is a sense of peacefulness inside. I would characterize this cabin as such a space. I noticed on day 2 that my fitness bracelet detected my body was in a deep state of rest and peace - the anxiousness of every day life had moved from the forefront to the background. Lastly, We had snow on day three and it was gorgeous. We went out to eat that day and the roads were well manicured and we did not feel unsafe. I will 100% return to this cabin and would recommend to those seeking to: ski, hike, retreat, write, rest, reflect or just escape.

Enjoyed our family weekend

The property was great, just as it appeared in the photos. We saw deer and other wildlife everyday. The house was very comfortable and well appointed. The views going up and down the mountain were priceless and the location was exactly what we were looking for.

Amazing memorial day getaway 💛

This home was outstanding, from check-in to check-out! It was absolutely spot on to the listing on vrbo. The decor was super cute and very updated. Loved all of the small details; but really appreciated the big details!! The beds were extra comfy- mattresses and pillows were both high quality. The towels and linens were very nice as well! The kitchen was stocked with all the appliances/utensils you could need! Firepit was on the upper deck, nice for evening views! Hot tub was on the lower deck, and felt private. The location was great for being able to get to all of the activities near by. We visited Tweetsie railroad, Mystery Hill, and Grandfather Mtn. I definitely saved this house, so we will visit again!

Our wonderful 20yr anniversary

This place is amazing! Awesome views, coffee Bar, quiet, grill, hot tub, clean, fire pit, did I say coffee bar!! It was just an absolute wonderful stay, we celebrated our 20th anniversary here and we will be back for more. This was definitely one of the best vacations rentals we have ever done!! Anything you think you might need they had it! Even umbrellas who remembers to bring umbrellas on vacation… 5 stars all the way!!
