Walk to anywhere in town from this character home, updated for comfort and outfitted for convenience. From the fully-functional office space with a view (+ fast wifi and 2 monitors) to the huge ocean-view deck, restful bedroom, and large kitchen and bath, you'll find yourself at your home away from home. Enjoy privacy (no host on site while you are staying at the house) & the conveniences of home in a modern package that includes cork flooring, new appliances, remodeled bathroom, & an expansive, private yard.
The space:
View property is quite large--1/3 acre. Indoor booked space ~1000 sq ft. Living room/office (with expansive ocean view) is a generous size, and you also have a large kitchen/dining area. Bedroom and laundry room are accessible from the kitchen, with large bathroom off hallway by front door. Walk out from the living room to a huge deck with ocean view.
Other things to note:
Office space has fast hard-wired internet (300/300), 2 monitors, plus laser printer.

I bought this house in Powell River in 2003, and raised my 3 kids in this house. We loved the house and the neighborhood, and particularly loved the large lot and view of the ocean and Vancouver Island.

It's a very safe neighborhood, and the kids could walk almost everywhere they needed to go from the house--including school, friends' houses, the Powell River Recreation Complex, the mall, Willingdon Beach, local trails, the waterfront, and the ferry terminal to Vancouver Island.
この宿泊施設の特徴
The beautiful graded lot and amazing views of the ocean and Vancouver Island have always entranced us. It's also a very walkable (and bike-able) location--with access to stores, restaurants, waterfront, beaches, and the ferry terminal to Vancouver Island. It's so easy to grab a bike and hit the trails without having to load the bike on/off the car--just head out from home. Love it!
