Perfect for my family. My granddaughter loved the stairs and everyone decided to use the upstairs shower. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed the Mt. Ida Cafe! Want to book it again in the spring when the water will be higher. Thank you for sharing your home with us.
We felt very much at home. The firm beds made for a good nights rest after crystal digging. We felt safe behind the locked gate. We enjoyed having a place to recharge and get going again the next day. Plan to be back in the spring.
This is a great property to stay if you are going to the mines. Super close to most mines.....close to restaurants. The house was super clean, big enough for a group of friends or large family....
However, accessing after dark is hard ....be sure to arrive during day light!

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in
Disliked: Location
The house was nice but neighborhood was very bad! Would not go back. Last night they had state police with the swat team arresting a person. Along with blasting all the door of every house and trailer next door. They were there all night. No curtain on any windows just shear, that you can see through. This is the first ever VBRO home that i would never revisit. Sorry for the bad review but feel I need to warn others.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication
Disliked: Location, listing accuracy
Not as pictured
Pros:
1. Clean
2. Good communication with host
3. Smart TVs in every room and WiFi
4. Comfortable beds
5. Large deck with grill
6. Spacious upstairs
7. Slept 6 adults and 3 kids and a baby comfortably.
8. Good water heater. Never ran out of hot water, and the bathrooms were nice.
Cons:
1. No privacy or curtains. The cabin is located in a trailer park.
2. Not as pictured.
3. River access is shared with the public. Strangers walk onto the property to fish and use the river. Stray dogs as well.
4. Gate lock is difficulty to get in and out of.
5. Dishwasher worked half the time.
6. River was stagnant. No flowing water. We ended up driving to Lake Ouachita to swim which defeated the purpose of us booking a cabin on the river.
7. No central heat and air. The cabin is cooled by four window units. We were lucky that the weather wasn’t too hot. This cabin would not be ideal in hot summer months.
Overall: The host was very friendly and responded quickly to questions or concerns. However, I would not stay at this cabin again.

Hi Jaymee, we’re glad to hear that you found the cabin clean and enjoyed the amenities, but we’re sorry that other aspects of your stay didn’t meet your expectations. After sharing your feedback with the homeowner, they’d like to clarify the following:-The cabin is located behind a trailer park, and there are "No Trespassing" signs posted to prevent unauthorized access. The gate lock has since been replaced for easier access.-The river was at a good level but wasn’t flowing during your stay.-The cabin is cooled by window A/C units and ceiling fans, which have worked well for previous guests.Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. We appreciate your insights and will continue to improve for future guests!
