Allegedly first property's stay on Evolve.
The pictures in the listing highly enticed me to stay at the property in addition to the attractive listing price. The check in process and information provided in the initial reach out were very useful for getting into the house. The property owner/contact was VERY responsive, and extremely helpful. I can stress this enough. She was awesome, and tried her all to remedy all below problems.Our stay length was originally going to be just under three months, but we had to cut it short due to the multitude of problems that kept piling during our stay of just over a week.When we first checked in, we were immediately met with an unswept, not vacuumed floors with obvious pets in the most recent departing tenants (also, confusing, as they said that we were the first stay.) This theme continues throughout the house. Sinks and bathtubs didn't drain. The shower door handle was broken off. There were used qtips on the carpet. The kitchen was absolutely disgusting with everything being coated in a layer of grease. There was a multiple month-old expired pack of meat in the refrigerator, which emanated the stench of rotting meat throughout the house the duration of our stay. Every dish and flatware in the house was dirty both physically and to touch. The dishwasher was nonfunctioning. The pool was putrid. The grill out back was in shambles. Half of the interior walls had missing baseboards. Most light bulbs were burnt out. Smart devices that had audio and video abilities were signed into an account that wasn't mine through out the house. There was no fire extinguisher. Most of the smoke detectors throughout the house were missing. The few that remained were chirping, needing new batteries. The workout room equipment was rusted, and wires were sticking out the walls. Internet went down. The was candy wrapper trash on the top of a closet. Blinds were broken. Paint was over sprayed on the walls. The surfaces of most tables and counters were sticky or visibly dirty. The yard and garden bed were overgrown, making much of the small sidewalk unusable. The dryer had THICK lint in the trap, causing concern of a house fire. There was a bottle of bed bug spray (obviously used) on the floor of one of the bedrooms. The garage was locked from the inside; accessible, but was left unlocked and openable from the outside. A peek inside revealed many many many items (didn't venture in, as I feared someone was living onsite.) My two children developed respiratory symptoms during our stay.
