The Space:

Imagine a house that sleeps ten, not just in beds, but in stories and dreams. The master suite is more than a room; it's a sanctuary offering forest views through a gigantic window right from your bed – a living picture frame to the outside world. Other bedrooms are cozy realms – two with queen beds and one with a double bunk bed, a fortress of fun for kids. The sofa in the lounge also converts to a very comfortable queen bed.



Now, step into our living room, a modern marvel with huge floor-to-ceiling windows. Here, you can immerse yourself in the beauty of the forest while enjoying a warm chat or a good book. It's a room where nature's beauty is your constant companion.



Just a 1 min away from Sassafras and 6 min from Olinda, our home sits in the heart of Mount Dandenong, a perfect blend of accessibility and seclusion.



And for those special moments, our outdoor dining area is a symphony of luxury and nature. Adorned with white tablecloths and able to accommodate ten guests, it's an ideal spot for birthday celebrations or weekend feasts. The well-equipped kitchen, complete with oven, dishwasher, and microwave, enables you to create memorable meals, blending gourmet indulgence with the natural splendor of the outdoors.



Our living room is a tech-savvy forest den, boasting a 50-inch smart TV (hello, Netflix and Disney+ binges!), all perched on Roku's digital wings. Our TV is not equipped with an aerial, but you're welcome to sign in to your own accounts to all streaming services. You can also watch channels via the browser or by projecting from your phone. The house is climate-controlled, ensuring your comfort is as constant as the ever-watchful trees outside.



Oh, and did we mention our feathered neighbors? A trio of kookaburras, the jesters of the bird world, are regulars here. They’ll perch nearby, serenading you with their wild melodies. Watch, but remember – these are nature's performers, not pets.



Your enchanting retreat is ready. Minimum stay? Two nights of wonder. Arrival is at 4 pm; departure at 10 am. But be warned – leaving might just be the hardest part. Ready for your storybook adventure?

Other Things to Note:

Walking through the woods on our property involves a steep descent, making the terrain quite challenging. We advise against crossing or playing in these sloped forested areas.



In the heart of the forest, especially during spring and summer, insect repellents become essential – it's part of the natural experience!



Friendly reminder that this house runs on septic. Please do not flush anything other than toilet paper. Thank you :)



We ensure the decking is thoroughly cleaned after each guest's departure. However, as our home is nestled in the forest, leaves may naturally fall onto the deck. For your convenience, efficient brooms are available if you prefer to sweep away any leaves before enjoying this beautiful outdoor space. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.



The cleaning fee included in your stay covers all professional cleaning services, as well as linen and laundry expenses. Please note, this fee does not extend to extraordinary cleaning tasks such as BBQ/oven cleaning, washing dirty dishes, rearranging moved furniture, removing stains from furniture, bedding, rugs or carpets, or additional rubbish removal. Guests may incur additional charges for these extra cleaning services."
