Just not as nice as shown.Place is very dated.The dining and living areas is not catered for 10 people.Dining table has seating for 8.Out door table, seating for 8.Main lounge has seating for 6.Games room had a leaking roof with a tub in the room to collect the water.Was only told the day before that there would be limited amount of firewood available. We are in the middle of winter and required the heating for a very large house.House smelled of pets on entry, with the windows opened to try a remove any pet smells.Only 1 small aged oven although the place has 2 kitchen areas.Toaster did not work.Beds were very good.Just not up to the standard expected.

We are particularly sorry about the leaking roof in the games room and the inconvenience this caused during your stay. We provide what we believe to be a suitable amount of firewood for your stay. We appreciate your comments regarding the dining and living area seating, kitchen facilities and toaster. I wish you had of advised us during your stay about the toaster as we would have arranged a replacement for you. We are pleased to hear that you found the beds comfortable. Your feedback is valuable to us and will help us identify areas where the property and our communication can be improved.

Roomy Stay

Lovely large house with plenty of space to spread out, 4-5 sitting rooms. Huge outdoor area. Be aware the stove is small for the size of the house, inadequate for 10 adults. There is a large BBQ though. The front door is rather stiff to open, there are plenty of other external doors to use. Great position; a walk to the shops.
