Peacefulness is in the air
The sunrises, the sunsets, the bright stars, the wildlife, and the mountain range were all breathtaking. Escape from the world at this location! The host has ensured that all the necessities, and some, are available for your use. You’ll find comfort in each room, peace on each deck overlooking the landscape, and plenty of entertainment in the game room. We loved our Thanksgiving getaway on this property and are planning a return for a future stay. Bravo Zulu to the owner and their team!
Beautifully decorated property with excellent views of the mountains and the lake. The game room was fantastic! Our family enjoyed the week doing outside activities and then relaxing at the end of the day in the hot tub or on the top deck. This property made our vacation even more special. We highly recommend staying here!

Amazing views
The house was very spacious, plenty of room for the whole family. The beds were so comfy and the kitchen was well stocked for family meals. The drive up was steep but not too scary, but it was so worth it for the amazing breathtaking views, wow is all I can say. We really enjoyed the perfect long weekend, relaxing and soaking in the fresh mountain air on the deck.
We loved our time at this home! The views are spectacular and it was so hard to say goodbye! The home has pretty much everything you need. There is a blender to use which is not mentioned in the description. We loved our stay and hope to come back soon!
The mountain and long range lake views are amazing! There are plenty of places on the deck plus the hot tub to just chill and enjoy the scenery. Almost everything about the house was fine with a few exceptions. The water in the downstairs sink was turned off, surprising, but easily fixed. Except the water would not completely turn off and one faucet was completely cracked through and came apart easily when used. The game room looked great, but was unused by us. Beds were all comfortable and sleeping spaces were fine. Living room was fine, just smaller than expected. Same with the dining table. Kitchen had all we needed and more. Plates, glassware and tableware were all stored neatly, almost everything else was somewhat scattered or random. Lots of spices and seasonings plus common refrigerated condiments. But overall, we felt it was time for the entire house and much of its decor to simply be refreshed. Compared to a comparable house in Hiawassee we rented a year ago, this one felt a bit tired. We were still very happy with our stay here. Host was very responsive.

Views for days!
Took the whole family for a New Years getaway. We had a wonderful time and the house was simply perfect. A mountain getaway with amazing views with all the special touches that make hanging out with your large family a time to remember. We didn’t need to go anywhere! !Pool and ping pong tournaments, puzzles, hot tubbing, board games and movie / football watching. My favorite amenity, besides the glorious sunsets was the gas fireplace. So cozy. Well appointed spaces with lots of extra towels, blankets etc. everything you need. I did wish there was a couch in the game room for an additional tv watching space (there are tons of TVs - one in each bedroom, but for video games and movies, it would have been nice). Grocery store / town very closeThe road up is no joke! Steep. If snowy, have 4 wheel drive. Otherwise you’re fine.
