Adventure awaits! Western NC and North GA abound with opportunities for recreation and relaxation. Set your sights on long-range views with visits to Bell Mountain in Hiawassee (20-minute drive) and Brasstown Bald (highest point in GA, 35-minute drive). Spend the day on Lake Chatuge with a boat or personal watercraft rental from a local marina or launch your own from nearby public access. Want to immerse yourself in nature in the Nantahala National Forest? Bring your mountain bikes and ride the first-class trails at Jackrabbit Mountain (also great for hiking and dog-friendly) less than 5 minutes from the property. Fires Creek Recreation Area (25-minute drive) is another Western NC local favorite for hiking with picturesque views, swimming, and trout fishing. On the GA side, take a 30-minute drive to a waterfall hike via the High Shoals Falls Trail or make the 40-minute drive to Alpine Helen, GA for a taste of Bavaria in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Hungry and thirsty after a day of exploration? Visit the outstanding local restaurants, wineries, and breweries in and around downtown Hayesville and Hiawassee for not-to-be-missed tastes of local flavor.

Road coming to the house is a 1 lane road well maintained paved road with pull-offs, please use caution and be courteous to other drivers.

The driveway will accommodate 3 cars. No boat trailers allowed.

- The cabin is all 1 level with an open concept living room, dining area, and kitchen.
- Laundry room is in the closet at kitchen/dining area.
- Both bedrooms are queen beds.
- The shared bath is a single vanity with a tub/shower combo.
- Walk out kitchen to the back deck.
- There is tv in the living room and both bedrooms.
- There are 2 kayaks, life jackets, inflatable floats and roll carts to haul the kayaks to the lake.

There are two "local" airports 1 in Andrews NC and the other in Blairsville GA.

- No parties, this is a quiet family neighborhood
- We supply a propane tank and a spare for the gas grill
- Tv is streaming service, YouTube TV remains logged in or guest can use their own credentials.
- Coffee maker is a regular drip, we supply coffee to get you started
- Swim dock is dry in the winter months and water levels depend on weather and the TVA.
- We do have a camera outside for property security and your safety. It is located on the carport and looks toward the
driveway.
-Lake access with your own private swim dock is a short walk from the house.



- Host Cancellation Policy: any reservations cancelled will receive an 96% refund, (4% is charged for credit card transactions and isn't refunded from our payment processing company.)

By booking your stay with us, you are aware of and acknowledge the below policies for yourself and all guests. Violation of these polices may result in eviction and additional fees. No refunds will be provided as a result of eviction.

This rental is for no more than four (4) registered guests and no one outside of the rental party is allowed on the premises.
No pets allowed.
The use of illegal substances, smoking or vaping on premises is strictly prohibited.
No parties allowed on premises.
No fires on premises.
The property is on septic, therefore, only toilet paper may be flushed down the toilet. Anything else, including but not limited to “flushable” wipes, tissues, and/or feminine products, must be disposed of in trash. Additionally, there is no garbage disposal and food particles must be disposed of in the trash.
There are risks associated with the use of items on premises including but not limited to the fireplace, home appliances, grill, hammock, dock, provided lake equipment, and activity by and in the lake. Use may result in burns, sprains, slips and falls, or other physical injuries including death. You certify that your participation is voluntary and you have been made aware of the risks. You agree to not hold accountable or bring legal action against the property management company, the co-hosts, or the owners of the home. This message and your booking with us releases the property management company, the co-hosts, and the property owners from all liability relating to injuries that may occur on location before, during, or after use and/or activity. You also agree to hold the property management company, co-hosts, and owners of the home free from any liability, including financial responsibility for injuries incurred, regardless of the reasons or circumstances.
