Architecturally designed modern home with views of the Tasman sea from every window. Enjoy a calm, relaxing holiday in this stylish space.

The space
Enjoy the relaxation that full ocean views provide. An ever changing seascape will draw your eye to the distant horizons. From Te Oneroa a Tohe (90 mile beach) across to Houhora mountain down to Te Kohanga (Shipwreck Bay) and up into Tauroa sand dunes. The views are infinite.
If you like surfing then the house location has the added bonus of views to Peaks and the Bay. With a high tide surf spot directly below the house. No need to drive for the surf check.

Two large corner stacker doors from the kitchen and dining area open to the large covered outdoor area. Opening both doors allows for unobstructed views of the Tasman sea.

Bedroom 1 has full panoramic views of the ocean. On a clear cloudless night the large window lets you gaze at the stars from the comfort of the king size bed.
A natural bespoke timber open wardrobe and bench seat for easy access and suitcase storage.

Bedroom 2 has full panoramic views from Shipwreck Bay to 90mile beach.

ABSOLUTELY BREATHTAKING

Fantastic communication with the hosts... check-in and check-out was simple and easy. Bach is very modern with open plan layout... architecturally stunning and furnished beautifully. So much thought has gone into the amenities which made it feel like a home away from home. The panoramic views literally took my breath away. Hopefully we will be lucky enough to stay here again!

Couldn't have been better....

I loved EVERYTHING about this property! Immaculately clean and fresh, such comfortable and inspiring decor (including from local artists!), comfortable beds, pillows and linens, exceptionally well-appointed kitchen...the stunning views from every window, the exhilarating outdoor "rain" shower and falling asleep looking out at the star filled sky...our family didn't want to leave! We will definitely be back!!

The Ultimate beach pad

Had the best experience there, after a long flight and drive from Auckland, waking to the sound of the waves crashing and spectacular view overlooking Ahipara bay. Host Jason and Renee gave us such a warm welcome and were available if we were in need of anything. House was immaculately clean and was very well presented. We highly recommend the beach pad,you will not be disappointed. My only disappointment was i should've booked it for longer.

Great getaway

Four days of surfing and fishing in one of New Zealand's great playgrounds. Absolutely beautiful new home with breathtaking views, a magnificent spot to come back to to relax, socialize and enjoy good food and drinks after pack filled days.

We built this home in 2023 to be our retirement location, but retirement is not in the near future. So we have made our home available to share with others while we get to enjoy it as well.

We choose this area as its where I was brought up and have Māori heritage to the area. We also enjoy surfing so the house with the a view of Tauroa is a dream come true.
