2 story house with one smoke alarm above front door and not working. The oven was a mess with food spills all over and when turned on filled house with smoke but no alarm. I cleaned as much as possible but still needs more. Microwave was filthy with food goop stuck all over the walls. over the walls. The stairs can’t possibly need code. In Carrollton, the treads must be 10” and they are possibly 7”. 2 out of the four adults staying there fell down them with no major injuries that we can see yet. They even held the rail and went sideways using one foot at a time. The ice maker has extremely old and frost bitten ice cubes. When you try to get water out of the door, it has a leak some place that dumps water from under the fridge and starts flooding the floor. Had to mop several times. The faux wood floors have such cracks between them that you cannot walk in bare feet or sock feet without tripping. The floor from dining room into kitchen had a nail protruding outward and ripped my toes to shreds. Tried to beat it down somewhat. The half bath has a sink but no towels to dry your hands off. The other baths have two towels and wash rags with no spares. This had to accommodate 4 adults for 3 days. The heater was so loud when cycled on that you couldn’t hear the tv or hope to carry on a conversation. The walls had set backs or enclaves that are caked in dust. One was directly over the dining table. Place was filthy and bugs live and dead all over. Much more to add!
