Eco-Friendly Cottage @ The Simple Patch Farm
Connect, unwind and be immersed in nature from the comfort of this sustainable, off grid hempcrete cottage. Situated just a short 10 minute drive from Wingham on the Simple Patch Permaculture farm, The Cottage overlooks edible gardens and native forest, all thriving with wildlife.
What the sun rise over the hills from the comfort of bed, take a short bush walk to the creek, find your comfy spot to read a book or just listen to the birds. Sit a top of the hill and watch the sunset with a glass of wine before being indulged in a glow of twinkling stars. The cottage is the perfect place to connect with someone special.
Farm experiences are available on request;
- Meet and Greet with the farm animals. You will be able to feed treats and pat the chickens and horses. As well as collect the chicken eggs from the coop. $30
- We can provide a personalised farm tour, where we can share our story of regenerative, small scale growing and pick a basket of seasonal produce. $40

Perfect getaway
A beautifully built and well looked after sustainable cottage. The location is great - you are hidden away from the hustle and bustle but still so close to everything. Highly recommend this as a place to getaway.

Perfect stay!
Our stay at the Simple Patch was wonderful. Everything about the cottage is so considered, from the huge comfy bed, to the picturesque windows, and the convenience of a well-appointed kitchen. the cottage was private and comfortable, but we loved having the opportunity to bring our young daughter down to the homestead to meet the pony and feed the chickens - a great experience that added to our stay. The location is a very short drive from Wingham town centre, so we got to enjoy the quiet of the country with the convenience of being close to shops, etc. Cannot recommend highly enough!

A beautiful and calm retreat
We had a wonderful time staying at Ashleigh and Jarrod's property. They were both incredibly responsive and accomodating during our stay.
The property itself is gorgeous - it has a very modern feel and style and totally surrounded by nature. It was such a pleasure to listen to the birdsong and frog sounds, whilst being in total comfort. The property also has a smart TV and wifi, so this is perfect for people who want the serenity of nature but still would like to be connected (which is exactly what we were looking for).
The town is only a 7 minute drive away so the location is very convenient as well! Highly recommend staying here - we definitely want to come back again :)
