Airy, light and spacious is the best way to describe this 8th floor Gulf-front two bedroom condo, one of the largest two bedrooms on Navarre Beach. At Navarre Beach Regency #804 enjoy spectacular views of the beach and Gulf from an over-sized balcony with seating for 6. King in the master bedroom, two queens in the guest bedroom can comfortably sleep 6. Large kitchen, free WiFi and laundry room, and dining area table seats 6. There is a 32' flat screen TV with a built in DVD player in the master, a 32' flat screen in the guest bedroom, and a 40' flat screen TV and DVD player in the living room. Navarre Regency provides an area on the ground floor for you to store your beach chairs and umbrellas during your carrying your beach gear up and down the elevator every day! Amazing condo and beach

Loved the 2 bed, 2 bath condo. Our 2 year old loved watching ocean fromthe balcony. 1st time staying at Navarre... we will be back. Fell in love with Navarre and it's beaches!

Not very clean upon arrival and bare bones extras

We've used VRBO for years and stayed in Navarre several times and this is the first place we've been disappointed in. When we arrived there was someone else's hairs all over the condo, especially in the master bedroom and bathroom and sand throughout the house. The cabinets were sticky and floor was sandy everywhere. When we moved a chair, there was a dirty bandaid and sand under the chair and the baseboards were filthy. I called the property manager and they sent someone to clean later that afternoon while we were at the beach. When we returned, the used bandaid was gone and the sand was somewhat better but the hairs were still all behind the bathroom doors and master so I just cleaned the unit myself.

The unit has very little in the way of comforts of home. The mattress pad and sheets don't fit well and are cheap so they were constantly sliding off the beds all night. There was only one spare blanket in the whole unit so I requested an additional blanket and pillow and it was brought to us promptly.

Not knowing the situation, this seems like a unit that is for rent only and not a place the owners stay at or these small comfort factors would be in place. All the furniture is cheap and uncomfortable. The view from the sliding doors is very nice and why we picked the unit. I'm sure we will be back to Navarre but we won't be staying in this unit again.

Beautiful unit, beautiful view

Loved our stay in this unit. There was an issue with an air unit above ours leaking water into our unit but the realty company was quick to have an air company look at it, come by for frequent clean ups and provide extra supplies as needed. I did leave a note for a few things that were in need of repair but I'm sure the realty company has taken care immediately. They were responsive to needs. Beds were comfortable. Patio had plenty of lounge furniture. Kitchen adequately equipped. We'll go back.

Marginal Accomodations

We've been staying at the Navarre Regency for roughly eighteen years now and have seen many changes since the original management company was bought out. This time, our first stay in this unit proved to be a bit too much. Upon arrival, my wife noticed there were no cover sheets on the two smaller beds in the front room (our kids beds). In addition, we noticed mold in the master bath and a general lack of cleanliness we are not accustomed to. We purchased the necessary stuff to correct those situations and moved on, know we couldn't get another place at the last moment of our vacation. The final straw was Thursday afternoon around 4:00 p.m. My wife stepped into the kitchen and promptly fell, bruising her thigh, arm and shoulder. The issue was a heavy leak of water from under the kitchen cabinets that had permeated the entire kitchen floor while we were down on the beach. At that point, I tried contacting the Regency association for help. I was transferred to four different numbers, the last of which indicated they would contact maintenance and have someone call us. This never happened. I again called the owners association Friday morning at 09:05 and was told I would need to contact Southern Rentals. I Did so via email and phone. The phone assistant was polite, but distant and unhelpful, stating she regretted we had problems and hoped to see us again. At 09:15, the staff maintenance manager, Robert, dropped by to look over the situation and found the a/c unit was leaking. His comment was: ”it’s the air conditioning unit, probably froze up”. After the brief inspection he left, saying he would contact the appropriate people. At this we finished our packing to check out.

I do realize that normal maintenance issues arise in any property and those issues are virtually out of the control of an owner or management team. The mold and the sheets are another issue altogether. All of this together seems to say the Regency has run it's course and we will need to find another property to enjoy in the coming years.

Higher ratings could have been possible

Great location, view and amenities. On the negative; the decor was dated, the check in time was very late (4pm) and the check out time was very early (9am), the internet did not work properly, maintenance was not a priority, the parking passes given were pointless since we still received a towing notice, and to top it off the cleanliness upon arrival was less than satisfactory (sand on the floor, stained furniture and bedding, and the jets in the tub were moldy). The information booklets need to be updated and made more user friendly (old restaurants, cables channels and check out information was listed incorrectly and not accurate)

The place has potential, but seems to have poor management and upkeep. In the future we will most likely return to Navarre Vacation Rentals. While not Southern Vacation Rentals fault, the elevator had issues and trapped another renter for 15 min in a non-ventilated elevator!
