Rustic, wonderful peaceful spot. Off road heaven but we enjoyed it too. Beautiful view.

We loved staying here. It was just like my family cabin back east. Mike was a great host. We enjoyed the lake and the boats. The stairs are a bit steep so beware of that for anyone older, just make sure they use the room downstairs. We could hear the off road vehicles but it didn't keep us up or bother us. They are allowed to ride until 11:00 PM and often do. Wished I had one! The dunes are right off the driveway.

Great time at dune heaven

  • 5 of 5

We rented the Aframe for a mens get away. We found the location to be perfect for any type of dune riding that you desired. The cabin was perfect with everything we needed for our 4 night stay. The storage barns for sxs's were a lil bonus. The lake was great and views were nice to wake up to. Mike the owner was very nice and helpful.Wifi was the one thing that i wish was provided as a data plan from canada can get pricey. Thanks again Mike

5 stars all the way!

  • 5 of 5

A small group of us stayed at the Overlook the weekend after Thanksgiving. You cannot beat this location right on the dunes! The house was roomy for the five of us and overlooked the beautiful lake. The ATV shed makes storing toys easy and the access to the dunes is a super short ride down the road. Mike was very friendly and accommodating. We can't wait to return!!

Family fun

  • 5 of 5

We have rented both the 2 berm and the studio from the owners numerous times now and can readily say both properties are. Wry clean and comfortable and well stocked with the necessities to make a stay there very comfortable.

Great affordable spot by the dunes!

  • 5 of 5

We rented the a-frame and the studio when we were in town for my brother's wedding. The a-frame is really cute and comfy, with a nice deck that looks over the little lake. The studio is nice as well and is connected very closely with the a-frame. My sister and her husband had their 2 week old infant with them so they took the studio and it worked great for them to have a quiet separate spot but next door to us. We spent most of our time at the wedding site so we didn't get to take advantage of the rowboat or go play in the dunes, but Dune Haven is right there so we could have if we had time. The owners were very friendly on the phone and in person (I met Mike and spoke to Nancy on the phone). Nancy told me up front about the rule regarding no extra unregistered guests which I appreciated, so then I was able to decide if I still wanted to rent it - which I did. Because I knew we would be at the wedding most of the time that rule did not bother me. The price was very affordable and it was way better than a hotel, and fun to stay with my other siblings all in a group. Also I loved staying in a nice quiet cabin when I was not at the wedding!
